FADE PIGMENTATION ISSUES

Ah, those stubborn sunspots and signs of photoaging... they just creep up on us
as we age! It's a very common skin condition. Luckily, this doesn't have to be a
permanent thing!

Did you know that hyperpigmentation occurs from the production of melanin from
too much sun exposure? Pretty much all forms of hyperpigmentation are due to
this phenomenon.

Our Fade Peel is a *potent* hyperpigmentation peel. If you have sensitive skin,
use scrubs regularly, or cleansing brushes, begin with our Fade Serum first,
which is less intensive.


OUR FADE PEEL IS APPROPRIATE FOR ALL TYPES OF SKIN DISCOLORATIONS AND
HYPERPIGMENTATION

Formulated with Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Kojic Acid, and Malic Acid, this is
the product to try:

 * Fade Acne Marks

 * Fade Melasma
 * Fade Sun Damaged Skin
 * Even-out Skin Tones
 * Deep cleans pores
 * Revives tone and texture of the skin
 * Softens lines, wrinkles, scars

Additionally, this peel provides:

 * Superior Exfoliation

We formulated this peel for those of you with busy lives who don't want the
downtime produced by stronger peels, such as our TCA line.

In addition to Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Kojic Acid, and Malic Acid, this peel
also contains botanicals that are beneficial in fading topical skin
discolorations.


GENERAL CAUTIONS:

Never use manual exfoliators nor scrubbing brushes within 24 hours of using a
home chemical peel or any kind of strong acids.

Stop using retinol, any benzoyl peroxides, salicylic acid, acne products, and
any other drying agents 24 hours before and after using an alpha hydroxy or beta
hydroxy peel.

If you are allergic to aspirin products, never use a salicylic acid nor beta
hydroxy peel.

Never apply a peel without doing a patch-test first and waiting 48 hours for
results.

Never apply a chemical peel to inflamed skin.

Always read product directions in their entirety and don't take shortcuts.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: 

Always patch test!

Patch test the areas you plan to treat. If you are doing a facial peel, patch
test a small area, about the size of a quarter near the jawline.  Follow the
directions, below, rinse thoroughly then wait 24-48 hours to make sure your skin
tolerates the peeling serum nicely

Directions for doing your peel:


Cleanse your skin with a non-acid cleanser. We recommend our Green Tea
Pomegranate Cleanser. Rinse thoroughly and pat skin dry.

pH Prep Solution – Dispense onto a cotton ball or pad and wipe your face to
remove oils and dirt from the skin’s surface. If your skin is dry or sensitive
this step can be omitted or substituted with Witch Hazel.

Your first efforts at peeling: Begin with fewer minutes to ensure a safe
experience. Then increase the on-skin-time as your own sensitivity levels allow.

Apply the peeling serum. Begin at the forehead and work your way down the face,
using thin layers of serum. Don’t rub the serum into the face. Just apply
topically, making sure your skin is nicely covered with a thin layer(s). 


Leave the peel on for up to 5 minutes. 

Rinse with warm-to-cool water and cleanse again if desired. Make sure the serum
has been completely removed from your skin. We offer a stand-alone Post Peel
Neutralizer if you’d like to use it to ensure proper neutralization. Moisturize
with a non-acid, non-retinoid moisturizer. We offer Argan Oil and Green
Tea Moisturizer.

After the peel:
Your skin may feel warm or appear pink. This is normal. However if, during the
above process, your skin burns remove the peel immediately with cool water
and/or use our Post Peel Neutralizer to stop the peel from processing. The above
peels may not produce much in the way of visible peeling, but they are
indeed rapidly exfoliating your skin. You will feel the softness immediately
post-peel and most certainly the next morning. Your pores will be clean and skin
texture will be more refined and radiant.
Always use an SPF of at least 30 for several days after peeling. Freshly peel
skin is photosensitive and needs SPF protection. If your foundation contains an
SPF factor of 30+, this is acceptable as well.

Use weekly for 8-10 weeks to see optimal results.

Purified water, glycolic acid 30%, lactic acid 20%, kojic acid 2%, malic acid
3%, bearberry extract, licorice root extract, sodium hydroxide, aminopropyl
ascorbyl phosphate, xanthan gum, phenoxyethanol, capryl glycol, hexylene glycol.

Ingredients - pH Prep Solution:
Water, Witch Hazel, Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, FD&C Blue #1.

Clients need to be aware that by using glycolic acid and other peeling products,
their skin will be more photo-sensitive than normal. It is recommended that you
use a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15, preferably SPF 30 or higher, after
using skin peel products. 

Ingredients - Peeling Serum:
Purified water, glycolic acid 30%, lactic acid 20%, kojic acid 2%, malic acid

 * Patch-test to ensure you tolerate the peel without irritation.  We recommend
   applying a small amount of serum just below the ear, along the
   jawline.  Leave on the skin for 4 minutes.  Rinse *thoroughly* with soap and
   water.  Wait 24 hours to see if irritation develops.  If everything looks
   good, proceed with your full face peel.

Now... for the actual full face application.


 * Cleanse skin.
 * Apply pH prep solution with a cotton ball to the entire area you wish to
   peel.
 * Allow the prep solution to dry.
 * Apply peeling serum.
 * Leave on skin for 5 minutes.
 * Rinse with warm, soapy water.
 * Moisturize with our Argan Oil.
 * Use an SPF 15 or higher for one-week post peel.
 * Use once weekly.
 * Never apply a chemical peel to irritated skin.
 * You will feel stinging and tingling, but this peel should not burn the skin. 
   If you feel a burning sensation, rinse the peel off *immediately*.  

Use the peel on a weekly basis for cumulative results.  If you find that a 5
minute application is too uncomfortable, cut that time in half.

FADE PEEL GLOW UP!!

The Fade Peel is one of my favorite items from MUAC. It’s quick and the results
are instant as well as cumulative. It keeps my skin smooth and my tone uniform.

GREAT PEEL, ESPECIALLY IN A SERIES OF TREATMENTS!

This is a fantastic peel when used in a series according to directions AND with
appropriate home-care and SPF. Years of damage does not get repaired with one
treatment, but a little at a time.

NO BURN, EFFECTIVE BRIGHTENER

I am one month into using these products. I've used the fade peel three times
and incorporated the fade serum post-peel. You won’t notice much difference each
week during application, but when comparing photos from a month ago, there’s a
huge difference in texture and damage removal. If I do this weekly, my skin will
maintain a nice, bright, youthful appearance. Pair with glycolic serum, and your
face feels so smooth there is no foundation in either of these pictures.
However, the lighting is much different.

Q: Just did peel today. What is best moisturizer post peel? Argan Oil? Can I use
the Brightening Day Protection post peel as well? Can I use a serum post peel?

A: You can use Argan Oil and your SPF 50 after your peel. Wait at least 24 hours
after the peel before using any serums/products that contain acids, retinoids,
vitamin C, scrubs etc.

Q: Hello! I'm making my first purchase with you guys and wanted to know what
does it mean when it says 'Acid Only' in the purchase box. I'm really confused
lol. Is the KIT the 2 bottles or 1 bottle?

A: The kit includes a bottle of the pH Prep Solution and a bottle of the Acid
(peel). The pH Prep Solution will defat the skin and remove excess dirt and oils
before applying the peel.

If you wish to order just a bottle of Acid, change the kit option to No.

Q: How soon after the TCA peel can I use the fade peel? I’ve done the fade peel
several times before and my skin tolerated it well. I’ve stopped peeling sdter
the tca (did the 15% for the first time).
