Do I have to buy any hardware?

To put it succinctly, QLess is an all-in-one queue management system and
appointment scheduling software. It is an advanced queue management system that
helps businesses manage their customer flows and better control the customer
experience. QLess reduces or eliminates the time customers have to spend in line
and decreases in-store congestion which improves your business image, helps with
staff planning, and provides key insights into the customer behavior and
business performance. It is the easy-to-integrate customer journey management
solution you’ve been waiting for, no pun intended.

Do I have to install any software?

QLess is a hosted service that runs on our company’s web servers. No proprietary
software is necessary to start with the appointment booking app and your
customers don’t need to download or install anything.

Once an appointment is scheduled, can the appointment be updated by staff?

If a customer uses Qless for online appointment scheduling, the appointment will
need to be rejected and rescheduled in order to make changes to the appointment.

How are ‘no-show’ customers handled within the QLess system?

If a customer does not show up for their appointment, the appointment software
will place them into an ‘expired’ queue and they’ll be labeled as a ‘no-show’.
Please note: we recommend removing no-show customers from the expired queue at
the end of each day, as customers will continue to receive updates every 30
minutes until their appointment is closed.

Do scheduled appointments appear on the customers' calendars?

Yes, this is currently available through a calendar integration with Office365.
Our electronic appointment booking system does not have an integration with
Google Calendar at this time, but it is on our product roadmap and will be
available soon.

How do you know when your customer has arrived for their appointment?

Organizations have the option to establish a check-in system via the QLess
platform. Once customers have arrived for their appointment, they must input
their phone number in our virtual waitlist to notify staff. 

Can we customize time slots according to appointment type?

Yes, you can customize appointment length based on service type with the QLess
appointment scheduling software.

Is it possible to create multiple appointment queues?

Yes, the queue management software allows you to create as many queues as you
need and can customize each queue to align with your needs.

Is it possible to automatically match certain employees with customers based on
the appointment type?

Yes, you can customize the appointment scheduling software to assign certain
employees to specific appointment types so that customers are only able to
schedule appointments with pre-designated team members.

Can staff members add personal holidays to their calendars?

Yes, this is possible within settings on the appointment management system.

If a customer cancels their appointment, does that time slot go back into the
system for availability for another customer to book?

Yes, all the appointment scheduling software features will do this
automatically.

Is there a way to export the collected data from appointments? I.e. name, email,
the reason for appointment, etc.

Yes, you can export this data with the appointment management system or create a
custom report with help from our support team (additional charges may apply
depending on the scope of work for the custom report)
