LET'S TALK THE FUTURE OF CYBERWARFARE.

On February 25, 2022, two days after Russia began its military invasion of
Ukraine, the U.S. Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) issued a
rare Shields Up warning for U.S.-based organizations, stating: "Every
organization—large and small—must be prepared to respond to disruptive cyber
activity."

CISA was not alone. Cybersecurity agencies around the world issued similar
guidance, urging public and private organizations to take immediate steps to
harden their cybersecurity posture and to take steps to support and enable
security teams from the top down.

Hear from our panelists as they talk about the convergence of geopolitical and
technological forces that led to this moment—and how they will shape the future
of cyberwarfare.

SPEAKERS:

 * John Zangardi, former CIO for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security,
former acting CIO for the U.S. Department of Defense, and former Navy CIO
 * Samir Kapuria, Managing Director, Crosspoint Capital Partners
 * Jamie Moles, Senior Technical Manager, ExtraHop

MAN

Panelists will talk about the role of people and process in leading us to this
moment, and how people and process will impact the outcomes of future
cyberattacks. This includes the role that volunteer cyber armies are playing in
the conflict in Ukraine, and how the development of those groups will impact
global conflict and individual organizations. Panelists will also discuss how
corporate leaders can lead their organizations and support security teams during
times of high alert.

MACHINE

On the technical side, panelists will discuss the tactics currently being
deployed by nation-state actors and their allies against both governments and
private organizations, including the rapidly rising cost of zero days, the
creation of exploits through supply chain compromise, and the shifting focus of
attacks from extortion and exploitation to extinction. Panelists will also talk
about the role of the network as both an attack vector and a source of
cyberdefense intelligence.
