EDITORIAL EMILY LAERMER Emily Laermer is Managing Editor for Ignites. She joined Money-Media in 2015 as a data reporter for Ignites and BoardIQ. She eventually became the data visualization editor for those publications. Before joining FT Specialist, Emily worked at Crain’s New York Business in a variety of roles including assistant data editor and news producer. She is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. BEAGAN WILCOX VOLZ Beagan Wilcox Volz is an Associate Editor of Ignites. She was previously a reporter and editor for Ignites' sister publication BoardIQ. She has written for the New York Daily News, Forbes.com and the Italian daily Corriere della Sera. She is a graduate of Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs and the Graduate School of Journalism. JACKIE NOBLETT Jackie Noblett is a Senior Reporter on Ignites, covering operations, ETFs and product development. Jackie also serves as the producer of Financial Advisor IQ's weekly newsletter, ETF Insider. She is based in Upstate New York. Jackie joined Ignites as a reporter in 2010, and began producing ETF Insider in 2021. Prior to joining Ignites, she was a reporter for the Boston Business Journal covering the technology and energy industries across New England. She graduated with a BS in journalism from Emerson College. ADRIAN D. GARCIA Adrian joined Money-Media in 2020 as a data reporter for Ignites and BoardIQ. He previously worked as a data reporter with Bankrate in New York as well as news outlets in Colorado including Denverite.com and The Fort Collins Coloradoan. Adrian holds a BS in journalism from the University of Colorado at Boulder. BRIAN PONTE Brian Ponte is the Marketing and Tech Reporter for Ignites. In this role, he covers marketing and emerging trends in the mutual fund industry. He is based in New York. He joined Money-Media in 2021 as a Newsroom Fellow and was promoted to reporter in 2022. He graduated with a BS in Journalism from SUNY Purchase. BEN MILLER Ben Miller is a reporter for Ignites. Prior to joining Ignites, Ben split his time working in journalism and education. He has reported on corruption, politics, and culture for outlets including The New York Daily News, Americas Quarterly, Gothamist, Flipboard, and Argentina Independent, as well as several independent podcasts. DAVID ISENBERG David Isenberg is a Reporter for Ignites. In this role, he covers the Securities and Exchange Commission and other regulators, as well as compliance and legislation. He is currently based in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining Ignites in 2020, David was a compliance reporter for Pageant Media's Fund Intelligence. He has also written for Rolling Stone and The Markup, among other outlets. David received his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 2018 and is a member of the New York State Bar Association. SONYA SWINK Sonya is a reporter for Ignites. In this role, she covers operations and technology, as well as ETFs. She joined Ignites in 2022. She previously worked at the Argus Leader and Sioux Falls Business Journal in South Dakota. She graduated with a MA Journalism in Business and Economics from City University of New York. JOE MORRIS Joe Morris is a Senior Reporter for Money-Media. In this role, he reports at large and writes news analyses for publications including Ignites, Ignites Asia, FundFire and P&C Specialist. He is based in Pittsburgh. He joined Money-Media in 2000 and has been a reporter at Inside Washington Publishers and reNEWS. He graduated with a BA and MA in English from West Virginia University. JONATHAN E. BRAUNSTEIN Jonathan E. Braunstein is the Director of Sponsored Content. Jonathan is responsible for overseeing all sponsored content at Money-Media, serving as the project leader and working closely with marketing, advertising and editorial teams, as well as with counterparts at the Financial Times. He was previously editorial director for webcasts and has produced written and interactive editorial content across nearly all of Money-Media’s publications. Prior to Money-Media, Jonathan worked as a television news producer and writer for Boston’s NBC and Fox affiliates. Originally from New Jersey, he is an alumnus of Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass. ALANA PIPE Alana Pipe is a Researcher and the Data Visualization Lead at Money-Media. Based in New York, she acts as the main liaison between the editorial team and Money-Media’s development team. In this role, she builds data visualization tools, conducts research studies for Ignites Research and shapes data into visualizations. She joined Money-Media in 2018 as a Data Reporter for Agenda and FundFire. Prior to that role, she worked at NBC’s Owned Television Stations on a range of multimedia from video to interactive content. Alana is faculty at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism. She holds a BA in Literature from McGill University. JONATHAN GREGG Jonathan Gregg has been working in New York City as a copy editor, musician and writer for more than 20 years. A graduate of Brown University, he spent more than a decade freelancing for numerous magazines ranging from Institutional Investor to Vanity Fair before doing a five-year stint at Time, Inc., where he was the senior editor of Time.com. Besides working for Money-Media, his most recent assignment was copyediting and fact-checking George Plimpton's biography of Ernest Shackleton. CARL CATUNCAN Carl Catuncan is a Distributor Profiles Researcher. He joined FT’s Commercial and Data Operations team as a data researcher in 2018 and is based in Manila. Prior to FT, he served as a research analyst for Thomson Reuters. Carl graduated from De La Salle University with a bachelor’s degree and a major in Business Management. JULIE DACLAG Julie Daclag is a Senior Researcher with Distributor Profiles. She joined FT Manila in March 2016 as the first researcher on the product, seeing it through launch. Since October 2017, she has worked as a as a freelance researcher for Money-Media and is based in Cagayan de Oro, the Philippines. Prior to FT, she worked at Institutional Shareholder Services and Factset as an analyst. Julie graduated from Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science in 2006. ROSE ELLEN SABERDO Rose Ellen Saberdo is a Distributor Profiles Researcher based in Manila. She started her career with the FT’s Commercial and Data operations team in 2017. Prior to FT, she worked as a researcher at both Thomson Reuters and MSCI. She also held an administrative post at University of Santo Tomas. Rose graduated from the University of Santo Tomas in 2008 and holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Business administration with a major in Economics. HANNAH GLOVER Hannah Glover is a Group Managing Editor at Money-Media, overseeing several asset management and governance titles including Ignites, FundFire, BoardIQ, Agenda, Financial AdvisorIQ, Ignites Europe and Ignites Asia. She joined the FT Specialist unit as a reporter in 2007 and has worked as managing editor at Ignites and sister publication GatekeeperlQ. Prior to covering the world of asset management, she worked as a legislative investigator for the New York City Council and as a reporter at the Meriden, Conn. Record-Journal. SALES AND MARKETING CHRISTOPHER BURKE Christopher Burke is Head of Sales for all Money-Media subscriptions. Chris oversees sales and renewals for all Money-Media publications. Chris has been with Money-Media since 2007, when he was hired in a business development role for the events team. In 2012, Chris took sole responsibility for the Renewals department and shortly thereafter started managing key sales roles as well. Chris took on his current position as Head of Sales in 2019. DOMENICK VECCHIONE Domenick Vecchione is the Manager of U.S. Subscription Sales. He oversees sales for Ignites, FundFire, Agenda and BoardIQ. Domenick has spent more than 20 years in the legal and financial publication industry. Prior to working with Money-Media, Domenick was a National Accounts Manager for Aspen Publishers in New York. He worked with the nation's largest law firms selling a diverse product line that included securities, corporate governance and compliance titles. CATLIN SWEENEY Catlin Sweeney is the Group Marketing Director. Catlin oversees the marketing team responsible for driving marketing efforts across Money-Media’s suite of products. Catlin joined Money-Media in June 2013 as the Research Team Captain and managed the off-site marketing research team. Catlin worked as a Marketing Associate from 2014–2016, executing marketing campaigns for numerous Money-Media publications, including Ignites, Ignites Asia, Ignites Europe, and Ignites Research. Catlin graduated with a BS in Advertising and Marketing Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology. SALONEE MALIK Salonee leads marketing efforts for Ignites, Ignites Asia, and Ignites Europe. Previously, she worked on customer retention and acquisition at Time Inc. She graduated from New York University with a BA in Economics and a minor in History. RENEWALS AND REPRINTS BEN DONNELLY Ben Donnelly is the Relationship Manager for all subscription-based customers, ensuring favorable renewal rates and client relations. Ben joined Money-Media with five years of sales and account management experience from NYC-based technology companies. He holds a BS in Marketing from The College at Brockport, State University of New York. CHRISTOPHER HOWELL Christopher Howell is the Client Service Manager & Reprints Manager. Chris is primarily focused on proactive efforts to help increase reader engagement and strengthen relationships with key contacts. He is also handles reprints for all Money-Media publications . Prior to Money-Media Chris worked for the New York District Council of Carpenters. He received his BA in Sociology from SUNY New Paltz in 2005 and his master's degree in Public Administration from CUNY John Jay in 2015. ADVERTISING DENNIS ASSELTA Dennis Asselta is the Group Head, Financial Advertising for the Financial Times. Dennis is responsible for managing the financial advertising team as well as working with partners on integrated advertising solutions across both the Financial Times and FT Specialist. Dennis graduated from Syracuse University in 2005 with a degree in Policy Studies. JESSICA TRUGLIA Jessica is the Senior Account Director of Asset Management for the Financial Markets Advertising Team. Jessica is responsible for selling advertising solutions across the Financial Times and Money-Media, including print, digital, mobile and bespoke opportunities. Jessica has held many sales roles. Most recently at Usablenet where she was responsible for selling mobile platform solutions. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration: Concentration, Marketing from Monmouth University. KELSEY HEALY Kelsey Healy is the Account Executive of Asset Management for the Financial Markets Advertising Team. Kelsey is responsible for selling advertising solutions across the Financial Times and Money-Media, including print, digital, mobile and bespoke opportunities. Kelsey previously worked at Turner Broadcasting in advertising sales roles. She graduated from Bryant University with a degree in Business Management EMILY ROBBINS Emily Robbins is the Account Director of Asset Management for the Financial Markets Advertising Team. Emily is responsible for selling advertising solutions across the Financial Times and Money-Media portfolio, including print, digital, mobile and bespoke opportunities. Prior to joining the team, Emily worked in client management at advertising agencies in New York and Washington D.C. She helped clients develop marketing strategies and oversaw creative development and execution of fully-integrated campaigns. Emily graduated from Towson University with a degree in Business Administration and Mass Communication.
