Welcome

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello there! I'm a 3D environment & prop artist, with a passion for building
detailed and lived-in worlds that tell a story.

I'm graduated since July 2023 from PlaygroundSquad, Sweden as a 3D game artist -
where I've also worked as an intern at a remote publisher-funded game studio, as
an environment & prop artist in a professional industry environment.

Since I was 3 years old I've had a liking for video games, and always wanted to
create my own stories with worlds I already knew well.

I first discovered Star Wars: Jedi Academy's GtK Radiant map editor in 2005,
which was my gateway into modding video games.

In 2009 I moved on to Half-Life 2's Hammer Editor, and by proxy Garry's Mod,
Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike Global Offensive and Left 4 Dead.

I had fun building maps for myself that looked nice, and of course never
actually releasing or finishing any projects.

In 2014 I wanted to take my experience further and learn how to create my own
props for my maps. I started learning 3D modelling with Blender, and have slowly
been improving as a hobbyist.

In early July in 2017 I started learning Unreal Engine 4. Learning a modern
editor with visual scripting meant it was much easier to build the kind of
worlds I always wanted to, since having a very mathematically challenged brain I
was never able to get into programming.

In 2021 I discovered and applied to PlaygroundSquad, only a few short kilometers
from my hometown.

During my time at PlaygroundSquad I've participated in 3 in-house game projects
with a full team of designers, artists & programmers, and developed my skills
further than I ever thought I could.
