TRAINING OVERVIEW

Vocal Europe , – a Brussels based Think Tank, has been training professionals
via structured trainings and mentorship programs to empower them with
competences that would facilitate their access to the job market. In that
respect, a professional training on the project proposal writing and project
management for EU Horizon Europe Program is being offered in cooperation with
Brussels Academy.

The training aims at providing a thorough understanding of the EU Horizon Europe
Program, and will allow the participants to acquire hand-on experience and
practical knowledge about how to write winning project proposal and how to
implement/manage successfully obtained projects.



At the end of the training, the newly trained Project Proposal Writers or
Project Managers will be able to:

 * comprehend how the EU Horizon Europe Programme functions
 * work in the frame of funded projects of EU calls
 * will be able to write winning project proposals
 * implement and monitor project activities, budget, time schedules and work
   packages

The training will aim at providing the participants with the skills and
knowledge allowing them to apply for the following positions:

 * Project Officer
 * Project Assistant
 * Junior Project Manager
 * Project administrator
 * Project proposal writer


TARGET AUDIENCE

The training is designed for members of the universities, research institutes,
private sector, SMEs, NGOs, students and individuals who are interested in
deepening their expertise on writing project proposals and implementation of
approved project. This training will be focused on the biggest EU programme for
research and innovation (Horizon Europe), but the principles that will be
presented can be useful for application for any other open calls for EU
competitive grants and other tenders/funders.

The training lasts for eight consecutive hours. The agenda for this event is

DAY I

How to Write Horizon Europe Winning Project Proposal

Time slot Topic 10:00 – 12:00 Introduction to EU programmes, The Horizon Europe
programme 12:00 – 13:00 Lunch Break 13:00 – 15:00 Proposal writing: proposal
structure, the main steps in developing a successful project proposal 15:00 End

DAY II

How to Successfully Implement and Manage Horizon Europe Projects

Upon the completion of all parts the training, the participants will receive a
certificate of attendance.

The training will take place via ZOOM, for which each participant will receive a
link from Vocal Europe to have access to the platform.
