AI FOR BUSINESS ANALYTICS (3 MONTHS)



OVERVIEW


This program is structured to familiarize learners with AI applications, taking
them from foundational concepts to advanced practices and teaching them how to
use them for business analytics. The material covers the history of AI, ethical
considerations, and practical tools, such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Copilot.

It includes industry-specific applications, analytical concepts that help better
understand customers and business clients, retention strategies, and legal
frameworks impacting AI use. It teaches the learner to use SQL, BI Tools, and
Python with AI tools.

SPRINT 1: INTRODUCTION TO AI AND COMMON USE CASES



Introduction to AI: Explore the history, different types of AI, and the most
popular tools, such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot, Gemini, Claude, Cohere AI,
and more. Open Source models (e.g., Llama). How to intuitively understand how
modern AI works. Learn what the Turing test is.

Critical Insights into AI: Examine the core dangers and downsides of AI, such as
hallucinations, and its ethical implications. Learn about the risks of giving AI
too much access to your system and understand the vulnerabilities of AI models,
including prompt injections. What are guardrails?


Prompt Engineering Strategies: Understand the importance of prompt structure in
AI interactions and create a framework for evaluating prompts.

AI Tools for Advanced Spreadsheets and Visualizations: Explore how to unlock and
utilize all features of Excel and Google Sheets with the help of AI.

Project: Exploring, cleaning up and working on a spreadsheet using AI.






SPRINT 2: MASTERING AI FOR EFFECTIVE BUSINESS COMMUNICATION



AI Image Generation: Learn how to use AI tools such as DALL-E and Midjourney.

AI Database Assistant: Work with databases and learn the core concepts of SQL.
With AI's help, you can perform tasks such as retrieving specific data and
filtering it according to your needs.

Communication with AI: With AI's help, improve your emails and written
communication overall. How not to sound like an AI, even when using AI.


AI for Business: Discover how to use AI for brainstorming business ideas,
understand the importance of outcome and value presentation, and enhance
professional business communication with AI.

Project: Exploring a dataset with AI and presenting the insights to
stakeholders.







SPRINT 3: AI FOR ANALYTICAL INSIGHTS



Unlocking Customer Secrets with AI: Learn about cohorts and customer
segmentation to better understand and target your audience.

Keep Them Coming Back: Explore using AI to analyze and improve customer churn
and retention.

Data Analysis and AI Part 1: Learn effective methods and strategies for
conducting A/B testing to optimize your processes and outcomes.



Data Analysis and AI Part 2: Learn effective methods and strategies for
calculating Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) and analyzing funnels to optimize your
processes and outcomes.

Project: Dataset analysis and reporting.



SPRINT 4: AI FOR ADVANCED USE CASES



AI ain Different Industries: Explore how AI is applied across various sectors
such as finance, education, healthcare, and more. Learn how to utilize chatbots
for customer service.

AI Coding Assistant: Learn the core programming concepts, including writing and
running simple scripts using AI. Understand how to evaluate the viability of
AI-generated code and explore the strengths and weaknesses of generative AI in
coding.

AI as a Search Engine: Learn methods and techniques to verify and validate the
accuracy and reliability of AI-generated results.


AI Limitations: Understand the strategies for managing risks and safeguarding
your company data and learn about the legal frameworks that could affect the use
of AI in your organization. Understand the pricing of AI.

AI in the Future: Why is the tech industry so excited? When is it useful to view
predictions with a grain of salt?

Beyond the Basics: Explore advanced AI engineering topics, including RAG
(Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures and AI agent chains; Fine-tuning
+ Open Models.

AI Capstone project: Automated data analysis system.
