Here are some frequently asked questions about our offer.


 * HOW CAN I QUALIFY FOR THE UP TO 5% CASH BONUS?
   
   To qualify, simply use the code CASHBONUS2025 when you submit a new account
   application to Qtrade Direct Investing by March 31, 2025. Then, deposit
   between $5,000 and $24,999.99 in net new funds to receive a Cash Bonus of
   $250 (equal to 5% of $5,000), or deposit at least $25,000 to earn 1% of the
   net new funds deposited, up to a maximum of $2,000.  You’ll need to hold your
   funds in the account until March 31, 2026, to be eligible.


 * HOW IS THE CASH BONUS CALCULATED?
   
   Total deposits or transfers between $5,000 and $24,999.99 in net new funds
   added to your account by April 30, 2025, receive a Cash Bonus of $250 (equal
   to 5% of $5,000). Total deposits of at least $25,000 by April 30, 2025, earn
   1% of the net new funds deposited, up to a maximum bonus of $2,000. 


 * CAN I RECEIVE THE CASH BONUS FOR MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS?
   
   Each qualifying client (or joint account as a single client) is eligible for
   one offer. However, if you open multiple eligible accounts, the qualifying
   funds can be based on the total new assets across all new accounts, with each
   needing at least $1,000 in new assets to count towards the offer.


 * WHAT IS THE NEW CLIENT SIGN-UP BONUS?
   
   New to Qtrade Direct Investing? You’re in for a treat! Qualify for an
   additional $150 bonus and enjoy free trades until April 30, 2025, when you
   make a minimum deposit of $1,000 into your new Qtrade Direct Investing
   account within 30 days of opening it. It's our way of saying welcome aboard!


 * WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY CASH BONUS AND SIGN-UP BONUS?
   
   The applicable Cash Bonus will be credited to your Qtrade Direct Investing
   account in two installments on or around October 31, 2025, and April 30,
   2026. For the Sign-up Bonus and free trades rebate (if qualifying), expect
   these in your account on or about May 31, 2025. 


 * HOW DO THE FREE TRADES WORK?
   
   Qualifying free trades must be filled between the date of opening of the new
   account and no later than 11:59 pm ET on April 30, 2025. Commission will be
   applied to initial trades in the new account. If all terms of this offer have
   been satisfied, you will receive a rebate for the qualifying free trades
   on or around May 31, 2025.


 * WHAT HAPPENS IF I WITHDRAW FUNDS AFTER I RECEIVE THE FIRST INSTALLMENT?
   
   If you withdraw funds before the holding deadline of March 31, 2026, you may
   receive a decreased bonus payout in your second installment or
   disqualification from the offer. To ensure you receive the full benefit of
   the Cash Back Offer, keep your deposited funds in the account until the
   specified date.


 * WHAT HAPPENS IF I WITHDRAW OR TRANSFER OUT FUNDS BEFORE MARCH 31, 2026?
   
   Any withdrawals or transfers out before March 31, 2026, will lead to a
   decreased bonus payout or disqualification from the offer. To ensure you
   receive the full benefit of the Cash Back Offer, keep your deposited funds in
   the account until the specified date. Your Cash Back Offer will be determined
   by the total assets deposited or transferred during the offer period, not the
   market value. 


 * ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS ON THE ASSETS I CAN TRANSFER IN TO QUALIFY?
   
   Yes, the transferred assets must not include any securities that are
   restricted, subject to a cease trade order, or non-listed without independent
   evidence of current value acceptable to Qtrade Direct Investing. The funds
   can originate from any Canadian financial institution or broker.


 * WHAT TYPES OF ACCOUNTS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS OFFER?
   
   Eligible accounts include CAD Cash (individual or joint), USD Cash
   (individual or joint), CAD Margin (individual or joint), USD Margin
   (individual or joint) RESP, CAD RRSP, CAD RRIF, CAD Spousal RRSP, CAD Spousal
   RRIF, USD RRSP, USD RRIF, USD Spousal RRSP, USD Spousal RRIF, LIRA, CAD TFSA,
   USD TFSA, CAD FHSA, and USD FHSA. Note that Delivery Against Payment (DAP)
   accounts are not eligible.
