WHO WE ARE...

Central Cambridge Youth Baseball is a community-based sports league located in
Cambridge, Massachusetts.

For over 40 years, Central has provided baseball programs for boys and girls
ages 5 through 12. The league’s main season is in the Spring, with smaller
programs in the Summer and Fall.

The league's goals are to teach baseball fundamentals, develop
sportsmanship, and to build the community.



If you would like to help Central Cambridge Baseball continue to thrive, please
consider donating.  Central Cambridge Baseball is a 501(c)(3) non-profit
organization and donations are tax-deductible.


FALL BALL 2021

New this year, we're going to run a 6 week instructional program at Lindstrom
field. Thursday nights, starting September 23rd, Dan Blum from Baseball 108 will
run 2 sessions every Thursday.

4:30-6:00 pm - minors and younger players prioritized.

6:15-7:45 - majors and potential majors level players prioritized.

 

Program registration includes access to any Winter training options we run but
we are still dependent on CPSD Facilities for access and obviously everything
will be contingent on the COVID situation locally.

Registration is $60 per player, we're unable to offer refunds or complete
makeups as Central will be heavily subsidizing the program costs. In the event
of inclement weather we will do our best to offer a makeup session depending on
coaching and field availability.

Financial assistance is available upon request.

professional baseball players at St. Peter's Field in Cambridge.

Starting a new tradition, we want to keep kids playing baseball at Lindstrom
long into the summer. Led by the coaches from Baseball 108, with cameos from
some of your Central coaches and alumni we want to capture the joy of summer
ball in the city.

Central Cambridge Youth Baseball majors and minors practices have begun! 
Registration is now closed.  CCYB will continue to follow city guidance and work
diligently to provide a safe and fun baseball season for our players and
families.

 * Majors/Minors Practices: Start week of April 10th.  Games Start week of May
   1st.
 * Farm Practices:  Start date April 24th

CENTRAL MINORS: 2019 ALL-STAR CHAMPIONS!



The Central's Minor League All-Stars won the Cambridge Youth Baseball All-Star
Tournament (Sep 7-8).  After beating the West All-Stars 2-0 on Saturday, the
Central team defeated the North All-Stars on Sunday, 5-1. 

Congratulations to all the players and coaches on the strong team play and to
the families and fans for their support during the tournament!

PIRATES WIN MAYOR'S CUP!




Mayor's cup comes home to Central!

Congratulations to Central's Pirates for winning the 2018 Minors Division
Mayor's Cup.  This is the first time a team from Central has won since 2001 and
only the fourth time since 1979!

After beating North on Saturday 9-6, the Pirates faced the Mets, champions of
the West league.  The Pirates played a phenomenal game, beating the Mets 5-1 to
capture the trophy!

Congrats to all the players, coaches and fans on an incredible job!
