   This salon is definitely not for everyone, and that is a compliment. Dave is
   the best for punk, alternative, rock styles and honestly you need to let him
   be creative because he makes hairstyling an art. I'm so happy with my hair,
   it came out amazing and it was worth the time he took on it for sure. And
   Dave himself is awesome, but again that comes from my personal preference in
   humans. Nicest guy, good taste in music, and truly had the rock mindset you
   need to make great alternative hairstyles.

   If you've ever planned a wedding before, you KNOW just how stressful it can
   be and all the little details that come together to make the day just as you
   pictured it. I contacted Dave with a vision, scheduled my appointment and was
   AMAZED at how ON POINT he was! The salon, is a whole vibe in itself, you can
   tell this man has put his heart and soul into his business and let me tell
   you, he is ROCKING it!!! He started with a trial strand, which I thought was
   so considerate to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted, let me tell
   you, mission accomplished! So overly satisfied in how he made my dream a
   reality! Conversation was great! It truly was a whole experience and such a
   nice break from the chaos of planning! Can't thank you enough Dave!!! Will be

   Dont trust the punkish nerd with bad clothes and the TERRIBLE mullet.SHES
   SHADEY AF. Everything started out great very nice staff AT FIRST they
   listened to my request and l loved it wasn't the typical snooty saloon...as
   my style was on its way the woman who was now overtalking too me about too
   personal stuff drama with her live in boyfriend (mmkay) but was still over
   nice through out....l thought this was odd but l wanted to be nice back it's
   common curiosity.....the problem came towards the end she said "ohhh let's be
   friends" l thought sure we like the same movies music etc....no biggie l gave
   her the tip and left.I call her at the number SHE gave me 3 days later no
   response...NEVER A RESPONCE NOT EVEN A TEXT.THIS BXTCH LIED TO GET A GOOD
   TIP.NEVER COMING BACK.

   Horrible. The owner looked a hot mess and when he came over to talk to us he
   smelled like he's been drinking for days. He canceled our consultation after
   us sitting for an hour waiting for him. Disappointing

   Groupon was having some crazy good deals so I was tempted into buying some
   hair services. I normally cut my own hair when it's long because I'm cheap..
   so I have not gone to a salon in the past 5 years. However, I wanted to go
   really short and there was no way I could do that myself. After much
   research, I went with The Angry Chair because it seemed much more chill than
   other salons and that they really wanted to understand what the customer
   wanted. Plus, I was hoping to go a little edgier than overly clean cut and
   they give off that vibe.
   
   It was easy to set up the appointment. Just a quick phone call to talk dates
   and times. When I arrived, there were a couple of people being worked on and
   the salon cat was oh-so handsome and friendly. There's no "front desk" person
   per se. One of the stylists asked me what time I had an appointment and who
   it was with but I didn't know. She said we'd figure it out. That was a little
   weird to me, but I guess they're pretty flexible? I had to wait for about 20
   minutes but it looked like they were dealing with a difficult customer.
   
   Athina took me after she was done with the difficult customer. She asked me
   what I wanted and I showed her a couple photos. I really liked that she gave
   me her opinion - "yes, short will be cute on you" - "no, I think you should
   go shorter" - "one layer would be best". She really worked with me to give me
   loads of options on colors and types of highlights (a first for me). The
   process was generally easy, there was enough easy conversation and I enjoyed
   her interaction with Dave (the owner). The only constructive feedback I have
   is that I wish I knew more about the process as it was going on. I'm a color
   newbie so I wish the next step was more clear like "we're going to bleach
   your hair for about 45 minutes, I'll check it every 15 minutes." Sometimes it
   just felt like Athina walked away and I wasn't quite sure if I could get up,
   walk, or put my glasses on.
   
   I love the cut and she did a fantastic job on the highlights - great blending
   so it can grow out without being weird. The purple she put in was spot on
   with what I wanted - dark enough that it blends into my hair really well so
   it looks appropriate in my "professional workplace" but just enough fun to
   feel like I made an "edgy" change. Everyone I've seen has complimented my
   hair and I really enjoy it. Thank you Athina!
   
   If you're looking for samples of their work - definitely check out their
   facebook as opposed to their website. Even if you're not looking for crazy
   color (which they definitely do very well), their cuts are spot on.

   David's cut and coloring skills are second to none. He is the best hair
   stylist I've found in my 46 years. Wish I found him years ago. He works with
   you intimately to understand exactly what you're looking for. He will make
   suggestions or recommendations (take them, he knows what he's doing) but he
   will ultimately leave it up to you. I've been to him five times now and have
   never been disappointed. My most recent cut and color is growing in
   beautifully and, even eight weeks later, I am continuing to get compliments.
   And bonus, his prices beat everyone else.
   
   The studio is definitely non-traditional: red walls, hard rock theme, hard
   rock on the speakers, and the coolest cat in the world who will curl up on
   your lap during your cut... It's a chill and fun environment.
   
   David himself is a whirlwind of a man, brimming with energy and personality
   and passion. He works fast and furious - the quintessential artist. And what
   he does IS indeed art.
   
   He'll ask you all about your life and share about his. He makes you feel like
   family. In our state filled with haughty, cookie-cutter hair studios, Angry
   Chair is a breath of fresh air. Love this place.

   Picked TAC based on the Yelp reviews. I'm very glad I did.
   Cool vibe, #1 mascot (Meow Guy), and Dave is certainly an engaging and
   uplifting artist/comedian. My hair was chuckling the entire way home.

   Another amazing appointment with Dave! I go in with no idea what I want and
   ALWAYS walk out feeling like a million dollars. He blends colors like an
   artist and my hair has depth and drama and looks absolutely fantastic. The
   atmosphere is so unique, from the red velvet couch to the heavy metal music
   and even the resident kitty cat. On top of it all, I pay literally 1/3 of
   what I'm used to paying at other salons. I'll never go anywhere else.

   For the past 8 years I have been going to Dave at the Angry Chair! He makes
   my hair Speak!! I love my highs and low lights and Volume!!! I HIGHLY
   recommend Dave for any color, cut, design on any HAIR!!! You will walk out of
