in 2014, Jolie said: “I was very young, I was experimenting. I was doing a lot
of dark, sexy stuff. And it was just silly.”











Angelina Jolie’s regret over her early career is understandable. She was a young
actress trying to make a name for herself in a very competitive industry. It is
not uncommon for actors and actresses to take on roles they are not proud of at
the beginning of their careers. However, Angelina Jolie has since proven that
she is capable of playing much more than just a sexy, sharp character.





Another regret Jolie spoke of was her relationship with her father, actor Jon
Voight. Jolie’s parents divorced when she was young, and she had a complicated
relationship with her father throughout her childhood and early adulthood. In a
2011 interview with The Telegraph, Jolie said: “I think as I became more myself
and started to understand myself as a woman, I realized that some of the things
he did and some of the things he said were unacceptable and I had to separate
myself from him.”




Jolie and Voight have since reconciled, but the experience has clearly left a
lasting impact on Jolie. It’s not unusual for people to have complicated
relationships with their parents, but it’s always difficult when those
relationships are played out in the open.

Finally, Jolie also lamented the way she handled her divorce from actor Brad
Pitt. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were one of the most famous couples in
Hollywood and were together for more than a decade before they split in 2016. In
an interview with Vogue in 2020, Jolie said: “I separated because of my family.
It was the right decision. I continue to focus on their treatment.”



While Jolie’s decision to leave Pitt was undoubtedly difficult, she has been
criticized for the way the breakup was handled. The divorce was highly
publicized, with many rumors and reports circulating about what went wrong in
the relationship. Jolie said she regretted the way the media handled her
breakup.



In conclusion, while Angelina Jolie is a talented actress and a gifted director,
she has several regrets about Hollywood. From her early days as an actress, to
her complicated relationship with her father, to her widely publicized divorce
from Brad Pitt, Jolie has spoken openly about things she wishes she had done
