Raina Meginley is a non-union, Texas voice actor specializing in animation and
other character focused voice overs with ADR experience. Her background in drama
and theater classes fueled her passion for creating characters and acting.She
has acting experience in video games, animation, manga/text dubs, podcast,
audiobook, commercial and a promo with additional screen acting credits in
short/student films, music videos, commercials/promo, and a feature length
film.When she isn’t performing, she’s creating her own characters, living
amongst her writings and drawings.Originally, Florida the desire for adventure
took her to Parris Island, South Carolina, having joined the Marines. It was
through that journey across South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, Texas,
Maryland, and California she learned about herself, the value of camaraderie,
and harnessed audio and radio understanding. Being a hard worker, a quick
thinker, with the ability to adapt while taking care of those around her
garnered her the nickname Mamma Meginley.Like a shadow, art never abandoned her
and after military service, she found herself more attached to it than ever. The
realness of the emotions art evokes is something she wishes to awaken in others
through her passion for (voice) acting. Embracing emotions is a great way to
know one’s authentic self. Finding and staying true to yourself is a lesson she
hopes to pass to her 3 boys.Raina believes teamwork is the key to success and
with her experiences through various jobs, being a performer, an artist/writer,
a USMC vet, and a boy Mom, she brings a genuine uniqueness to the table. All the
while, her hunger for knowledge keeps her growing in various classes.
