Now that you're a member of the Marina on the Bay community, we would like to
share some ideas for day trips or weekends.

You are on the Shrewsbury River. If you travel south passing under the Highlands
bridge, you will encounter a fork in the river where the Navesink River begins
on your starboard side. Follow this its full length (about four miles) and you
will land in Red Bank. Along the way I hope you take in the sights of the
estates and mansions built along the Rumson and Navesink sections of Middletown.
Once in Red Bank there are hundreds of shops and great places to eat.

For a change of pace head on south down the Shrewsbury, follow it past Sea
Bright, Rumson, Monmouth Beach, and off in the distance you see Little Silver
and Oceanport until you finally land in Long Branch, New Jersey. Keep an eye
out, as there are many fine places to dock and dine along the way.

Marina on the Bay offers direct deepwater access to the best fishing grounds and
beaches in the New York and New Jersey region. With 150 slips for boats to 50
feet (summer and winter storage) and transient dockage up to 110 feet, 35 ton
travel lift and service department, we're the ideal spot to spend the season or
the night.

On site you'll find restrooms, showers and picnic areas with barbeques. Right
next door is a popular seafood restaurant and nearby a high speed ferry service
that can whisk you to New York City in less than 45 minutes. With all this just
feet from an unspoiled national park and beaches, Bakers Marina on the Bay
offers best of all worlds.
