With the candidates on a split screen, Americans watched Vice President Kamala
Harris and former president Donald Trump react to each other as Tuesday night’s
debate unfolded.

Harris frequently turned toward her opponent and looked at him as he spoke,
while Trump did not look at Harris when she talked.
