contorts and mutates as its pestilent roots sprawl towards unsoiled ground, and
bloodthirsty monsters are borne from placid livestock.

You are a Vessel. A byproduct of the death of the Old Gods, your hollow soul
prevents your passage into the afterlife, binding you to this world.

Fated to an eternity of conflict, you must master the art of melee combat and
rise through the ranks of your faction– or face annihilation at the hands of
your enemies.

Whether you side with the great castles of the Palisadeans or the snarling
beasts of the Hantrii, find your role in the battle and lead the charge through
this broken world. Take up your weapon…

CO-OP EXPERIENCE


 * A HARROWING NARRATIVE
   
   Far in the dusty distance on the border between Senterim and Kahenne lies a
   forgotten citadel ruled by a misbegotten King.
   
   Striking a deal with the Deities, they granted him the flesh of the Old Gods,
   promising great power. However, consuming it mutated him into a grotesque
   monster, their cruel laughter echoing in the back of his head. Betrayed and
   hungry for vengeance, the King offers riches and might to any who can carry
   out his retribution.
   
   Guided by his magic, lost Vessels descend on the city like moths to flame,
   searching for purpose… or perhaps, just something to kill.


 * ALONE OR WITH COMPANY
   
   With the help of the King’s Entropists, you will invade the dimensions of the
   Deities, either alone or with up to 4 others.
   
   Experience the deep, expressive combat of Ad Mortem in a new way, taking the
   fight to monsters and men with AI that adapts and learns, shaped by our
   knowledge and experience of the genre.


 * LONG-TERM PROGRESSION
   
   Grow stronger with each expedition as you plunder, loot, and gather
   experience in the Deities’ domains. But take heed– for as your powers
   increase, so do theirs.

 * SLAYER
   
   ADAPTABLE DEMON HUNTER
   
   Hunter of both demon and man, the Slayer upholds the will of the Overseer
   with solid armour and versatile offense, capable of wielding weapons both
   nimble and devastating alike.


 * BRUTE
   
   MONSTROUS SHIELD BULWARK
   
   The titanic, petrifying goliath of the Hantrii. The Brute strikes terror into
   the hearts of the enemy with gruesome one-handers and a nigh-impenetrable
   defense, shrugging off blows at the forefront of the assault.


 * PARTISAN
   
   JUDGE, JURY AND EXECUTIONER
   
   Few in the Palisadean guard gain enough notoriety to be granted the rank of
   Partisan. Employed by the court, the Partisan is a cold, austere soldier who
   thinks in absolutes, demonstrating the power of Palisadean law with practical
   armour and huge, imposing weapons. If you are unlucky enough to have
   Partisans called on you, there is no further bargaining to be made: you are
   guilty, and marked for death.


 * JUGGERNAUT
   
   TERRIFYING IRON PALADIN
   
   Towering protector of Palisadean faith and purpose-bred keeper of the Sacred
   Wards, the Juggernaut dominates the frontline with brutal one-handers,
   unshakeable devotion, and almighty plate armor.

WHO WILL YOU FIGHT FOR?


~ THE PURGATORY WAR ~


NOBODY WAS PREPARED WHEN THE ENTROPY CAME.

The old kingdoms of humankind crumbled under the threat, displacing thousands
and thousands from their homes. Whole citadels and castles left to fend for
themselves in the twisted wild, it seemed that the luck they had during the
Inhabitant War ran out.

Queen Kezia II was visited in the night by an ethereal figure, bearing a stone
tablet and a pact:

So long as she follows and enforces the laws laid out on the tablet, she and her
kingdom shall be granted the strength to drive out the Entropy and restore their
homes to the way they once were.

So, she accepted.






EMBOLDENED BY PURPOSE AND PROMISE, KEZIA EXPANDED HER DOMAIN.

She offered salvation to neighbouring dominions, under the condition that they
follow the rules of her sacred stone tablet. The people of these united kingdoms
became known as The Palisadeans.

Those who disagreed with the Queen’s cult were cast out from the safety of their
consecrated walls and barred from re-entry, if they weren’t outright killed for
their heresy.

One such man, an exiled scholar lost deep in the blackened woods of Northern
Senterim, had a breakthrough in his research.

With the right tools and attunement… one could manipulate Entropy themselves.



And with this newfound power, he offered protection to the outcasts and pariahs
of Palisadean society. He formed settlements deep in the woods, built sturdy
forts and humble villages, tamed the beasts of Entropy and named them Kuretines.
These outsiders became known as The Hantrii.

However, The Palisadeans continued to expand. With their newfound power, they
enacted their ultimate mission; to rid Contrara of Entropy entirely, starting
with Senterim.

And The Hantrii, determined to usher in a new world of co-existence with
Entropy…

Well… they were in the way.
