ABOUT RAYPROTEC LEAD SHEET



Rayprotec Lead Sheet is consistent and high in density, manufactured from soft
lead and a variety of special alloys upon request. Rayprotec Lead Sheet is free
from dross, oxide inclusions, scale,laminations, blisters, and cracks.

Every single Rayprotec lead sheet, is subjected to rigorous quality checks
throughout the entire process from manufacture to despatch.

All lead used is subject to routine testing and checking. During production
constant in process inspection is carried out to check for any pinholes or
cracks cause during production.

Upon material ready, inspection for proper size & thickness is done for any
possible quality issues and then each roll of RAYPROTEC Lead Sheet is wrapped
with RAYPROTEC label thick HDPE Plastic sheet to avoid any kind of transit
damages. Further our Product Colour Code labeling and marking helps your
warehouse keeper/production floor people easily label out the required size.
Each lot of RAYPROTEC Lead Sheet comes with IQC.

That's why we can say, with absolute confidence, that each and every one of our
Rayprotec lead sheets is fit-for-purpose and made to an impeccable standard.

OUR PROCESS



Rolled lead sheet is formed by passing a slab of refined lead back and forth on
a rolling mill between closing rollers, to a predetermined thickness. The sheet
is then slit to width and cut to length for final packing and distribution. Such
is the consistency of the process that lead sheet will not vary in thickness by
more than +/- 5% at any given point.

   Rayprotec Lead Lined Doors consist of a single un-pierced lead sheet factory
   laminated between a divided solid core. The lead sheet extends the full
   height and width of the door. Rayprotec lead linned doors are designed and
   constructed with the highest quality craftsmanship and materials available.
   
   
   
   


 * MOBILE LEAD BARRIER
   
   
   
   Rayprotec manufactures standard and custom-designed Radiation Shielding
   Mobile Lead Barriers. Rayprotec Mobile Lead Barrier are designed to shield
   medical personnel from harmful secondary radiation in examination rooms,
   operating rooms, intensive or cardiac care units, mammography, and nuclear
   medicine suites. The Mobile Lead Barriers are supplied with heavy duty
   non-marking swivel casters that are easily locked into position when

 * PORTABLE LEAD SHIELD
   
   
   
   Rayprotec manufactures standard and custom-designed Radiation Shielding
   Portable Lead Shield. Rayprotec Portable Lead Shield is an excellent for
   patient protection during diagnostic procedures such as erect chest and
   cervical spine. Includes a durable nylon covered 0.5mm (1.0 mm optional) lead
   equivalency shield.
   
   
   
   


 * LEAD LINED DRYWALL
   
   
   
   Rayprotec Lead Lined Drywall also referred to as lead lined gypsum board is
   supplied with lead lining bonded to 1/2" or 5/8" drywall.Rayprotec Lead Lined
   Drywall consists of a single unpierced sheet of lead laminated to the
   specified thickness of drywall. The bonding is accomplished with a continuous
   layer of mastic adhesive. We recommend using 5/8” drywall to support the
   extra weight of the lead. It is used in new construction or shielding
   upgrades/renovations for P.E.T and other types of diagnostic imaging rooms.
   
   
   


 * LEAD GLASS
   
   
   
   Rayprotec Lead Glass (X-ray Glass, Radiation Shielding Glass, Leaded Glass)
   is suitable for installation in screens, windows, walls, and doors. Our Lead
   Glass allows technicians to view the imaging or radiation therapy procedures.
   
   Lead glass has a number of uses, primarily in the medical industry. It
   provides full radiation protection but is transparent and easy to see through
   for observation purposes. Our x-ray glass delivers superior visual clarity
   and high light transmission with little to no distortion, even in our
   thickest available varieties. Our lead glass can be used effectively in x-ray
   rooms, radiation therapy rooms, laboratories, and many other applications.
   
   We offer lead glass in a variety of standard sizes to meet the needs of
   nearly any application. We also offer custom size lead glass up to a maximum
   of 1000mm x 2000mm. Quotes for leaded glass are available upon request.
   
   Lead Glass is available in the following equivalencies: 1.6mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm
   and 3.2mm. These lead equivalencies are based on 150kV. Lead x-ray glass with
   higher lead equivalencies is available upon request.
