billion once complete, has now launched.

WHO OWNS THE HUNTER ECONOMIC ZONE?

The Hunter Economic Zone is prime industrial land located in the Hunter Valley
region of New South Wales. Privately owned by Hunter Investment Corporation and
supported by local government and state initiatives, it offers businesses the
flexibility to purchase or lease fully serviced industrial land.



Today, Hunter Investment Corporation is one of Australias’ most dynamic and
well-diversified property companies, specialising in projects within the
commercial, residential, industrial, resort, retail and energy generating
sectors. We construct, operate and own all our assets, being an owner and
manager means we have a vested interest in long term success of our assets.

Commercial – Multiple Iconic CBD commercial towers across NSW, will quality
tenants mainly leased to Commonwealth and State Government agencies, public
listed companies and NFP Charities.

Industrial – Large scale industrial warehouses, distribution centres,

WHERE IS THE HUNTER ECONOMIC ZONE LOCATED?

The Hunter Economic Zone – HEZ is located near Kurri Kurri and Weston in the
Hunter Region of New South Wales. It resides within the Cessnock Local
Government Area (LGA) and can be accessed via the M1 Motorway, New England
Highway and Pacific Highway.



HEZ is strategically located on an axis of electricity, gas, major national
highways, rail and optical fibre communications and provides high capacity
services – water, sewer, gas, electricity and fibre optic cable.

National rail lines adjoin HEZ with excess container capacity to Newcastle, Port
Botany and Western Sydney, plus an easement for a rail spur into the site
available. The rail line links to the Main North Line, which in turn connects to
Newcastle, Sydney and interstate.

The Hunter Economic Zone includes a 900-hectare industrial precinct near
Cessnock and is already of interest to new economy large-scale export
industries.

The Hunter Economic Zone has been established to create a world-class
sustainable business estate that stimulates prosperity in the Hunter Region.
