OH DEER!

I

It's no secret that one of my favorite days of the year is approaching.  You
must know by now that I LOVE celebrating all the fun that comes with Halloween.

Above is one of the signs I made fitting for the up coming occasion!  I have
four of these signs left and ready to go out the door if you would like to
customize yours.   The size is 16 x 20 and you can personalize it yourself or
have me write on  it for you.

One of the fun things we like to do is get our costume on!
Can you tell what I am?   Oh Deer!  and my hubs took the easy route and was the
Huntsman.  I give full credit to my sweet daughter Shae for taking time to paint
my doe face.
So much fun!
I hope you all are planning or having a fun weekend getting your spook on!
Muuuuwahhhhhhhhhh!

CHRISTMAS BOX

A sweet little Christmas box with treats.
I used the Hardwood stamp and stamped it on a regular 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" piece of
natural cardstock and then cute two pieces of 2" wood pieces and wrapped them
around our clear tiny boxes filled with Ghirardelli square chocolates.

The baker's twine is from this month's Paper Pumpkin kit and the berries were
purchased at Michael's, one of the Christmas picks.

Fun time stompin around in the mud searching for just the right round bundle of

PAPER PUMPKIN OCTOBER

Did you receive your October paper pumpkin?
You NEED to sign up!  Look at this month's beautiful cards!

I always love to recreate my paper pumpkin kits.  Sometimes I do exactly what it
looks like, but this time I wanted a more muted natural look to my Thanksgiving
cards.

LAUREL WREATHS HAND DRAWN

Thought it would be fun for you to try a hand at adding some laurel wreaths to
your already stamped cards.  I used the Suite Seasons stamp set and stamped Give
Thanks in Soft Suede ink.  Then using the Soft Suede stampin write marker drew
the laurels.
Give it a try and have fun trying something new today!
                                  Here are the samples

RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE

Scary clowns no,  Ronald McDonald YES!  especially when it means you get to go
and create memories and laughter with families children who are battling cancer.
This is an activity that I have participated in for years, every third thursday
of the month and it never gets old.

We made these cute blow pops covered with two pieces of tissue paper and tied
with orange ribbon and googlie eyes.
These were a hit!  the kids were running around with them making booooooo booooo
noises.  I'm sure the parents loved me once they went home.  :)

Kirstin created this cute treat bag that they filled with goodies.
(Highlight of the night- CANDY!!)

ACORN KISSES

Blessing your feed this morning with these small cauuute acorn kisses.  I found
a tutorial on youtube for these fall cuties.
Start by cutting cardstock color of your choice, measurement is
4 x 3/4", then score at 1", 2" and 3" then fold up and glue together to create a
triangle.  Fill the triangle with one hershey's kiss.
The acorn's are stamped and punched out with a coordinating punch.  (look below)

Use these cute acorns as table favors for Thanksgiving or a luncheon or kids
class treats.  They are super quick and easy to make.

Acorny builder punch - #139681 for $18.00
Acorny Thank you stamp set - $139718 for  $15.00

GIVE THANKS

Wouldn't you like to give water coloring another try?

This card was made by using the Woodland embossing folder.
The embossing folders are used by running them through the Big Shot machine,
which then in turns embosses the image right into the cardstock.   I used the
aqua painter and some crumb cake ink to water color the background of the paper.
I cut out the center with the oval framelit and stamped the give thanks stamp
on the left over oval piece cut in half and placed at the bottom.

HALLOWEEN DECOR

Things are getting a little spooky around here!
Setting up some Halloween decor this week, enjoying the fall crisp and ughhh
(wet) weather we are having.
Hope I am able to inspire you to get some Halloween decor going at your house.
This happens to be my favorite time of year.  I really enjoy the fall and
Halloween.

COOKIE CUTTER HALLOWEEN

Fright this way!
Run don't walk to your nearest Dollar Tree for a package of these cute
skulls.
They fit perfectly with the Cookie Cutter Halloween skeleton stamp.
These would be great for kids treats or classroom treats if your school still
allows Halloween.
 (ours does, yippeee!)

I used the 2" tag punch to create the tags and stamped the skeleton right onto
white cardstock.
I added the orange heart and the candy skull and some baker's twine to the top.
The Happy Halloween stamp is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.

              Muuuwahhhhhh!!!!
