Training – Inspector Certification

IFCII, The Institute for Floor Covering Inspectors International, provides
hands-on Flooring Inspection Training to educate flooring professionals, claim
analysts, technical personnel and certify those who wish to become a Certified
Carpet-Flooring Inspector.

The training is now available in person or can be done remotely through Zoom.

This is a safe way to learn and update your floor covering knowledge.

Training includes carpet and hard surface in one fast-paced seminar. Students
learn the forensics of carpet, resilient, laminate, and hardwood flooring
inspections.

IFCII provides training, including hands-on inspections, examination of
defective/damaged material, and practicing step-by-step inspection procedures
for all flooring materials.

Students are taught what field tests need to be done and practice doing them.
Students learn the art of report-writing and practice preparing their own
well-documented inspection reports.

IFCII’s action-packed course is one of a kind and the only course that truly
prepares Flooring Inspectors for their new profession.

To protect its members, IFCII has reorganized to guarantee the organization’s
perpetual existence. This means IFCII provides a safe and stable environment for
inspectors to maintain their certification.

IFCII believes an inspector’s certification is an earned credential, like a
college degree. This credential cannot be revoked without cause. IFCII
certification is obtained through industry experience, certification training,
and testing.

IFCII’s philosophy remains that an inspector must continue to educate themselves
in the field and industry to remain an asset to themselves, the industry, and
the market. This continued education is the key to obtaining and maintaining
IFCII certification.

IFCII recognizes other industry certifications, and IFCII approved classes for
continued education. Certification is not contingent on dues or fees paid.

IFCII’s fast-paced Carpet & Hard surface training is perfect for experienced
