WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE & BLOG

Hello there, and welcome to my website. I am a call center customer service
agent by day, and a couch potato and writer by night. I enjoy helping people
with life's challenges when I have the time and tools at my disposal. However,
since I don't particularly enjoy getting out and about all that often, consider
this website your toolbox, which I will do my best to keep stocked with useful
things.

One of the useful things I feature on this website, is an alarm clock. My
primary home pc is down, and that featured a nice stand alone alarm clock that
would wake me up on time for work. I got ambitious late this week, and found an
alarm clock script that allowed me to continue to have an alarm clock that would
wake me up. The plus side of this, is, I can share the page with as many people
as wish to view it and use it.


I CALL OMAHA, NEBRASKA, MY HOME

This city is growing. Like most major cities, we are trying to keep young
productive people living and working here. There is so much more to see here
than just corn. We have one of the best zoos in the world, Mutual of Omaha is
headquartered here, and yes, we have a historical district known as the Old
Market. As much as I enjoy the old sights that used to be here, such as
Rosenblatt Stadium, the Civic Auditorium, and The Old Gene Leahy Mall, I am
enjoying the new things yet to come, as well as the new arrivals that showed up
within the last 5 years.


EMPLOYMENT IS AVAILABLE HERE

You might not see it unless you are aware and know what to look for. Omaha, with
all its growth, is also a city where work can be found. From spot labor
subcontracting, to blue collar factory work, and medical work. Oh, there's
plenty of white collar office work to be found here as well. Don't overlook your
hidden talents, as they might be useful to one of several different companies
looking to fill empty employment roles.


A GROWING CITY WITH MUCH TO APPRECIATE

Did I mention that Nebraska was the birthplace of a few influential celebrities?
From Gerald Ford to Gale Sayers, Calvin Jones, let's not forget Marlon Brando
and Dick Cavett. Howver minor or major of a role they played historically, they
contributed in their own unique way to the fickle thing we know of as fame.
Omaha is also the birthplace of Malcom X, a respected Civil Rights leader. This
was also the home of jazz musician, Preston Love. There is another that escaped
my attention until I looked up info on Preston Love. Preston Love, Jr.. Preston
Love Jr. has been a very busy man indeed. Serving a largely ignored section of
North Omaha and helping to bring the community together. I will let the internet
tell his story.
