Shah is a Docker Captain, a Microsoft MVP, and a technophile with a deep passion
for technology, particularly in the realms of Docker, Cloud, IoT, and
Networking. With a strong foundation in IT infrastructure, he also enjoys coding
and developing software solutions. Currently pursuing a Master in Engineering
Technology (Electrical and Electronics) at Universiti Kuala Lumpur, his research
focuses on integrating Azure Cloud functions into IoT applications. Beyond his
technical pursuits, Shah is a natural leader dedicated to empowering and

I am a passionate person looking for something new to learn every day and love
to share knowledge with my community to empower them to achieve more in the
future. Gained passion for the tech industry at such a young age, I know how
hard it is to gain knowledge and now serving to contribute my expertise to the
public as a Docker Captain and Microsoft AI and Azure MVP.


Currently working as a Network Support Engineer at F5 and NGINX, juggling
between work and research life. Trust me, it's not easy to have so many things
on your plate, but I manage to do well in both worlds due to a strict time and
stress management approach.

In my free time, I like to play (specifically) single-player games on PS5 (I do
not like competitive gaming). My favourite games so far are God of War Ragnarok,
Far Cry series, Assassin’s Creed series and Elden Ring. I am also currently
obsessed with series like Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon
#teamGreen. I also love to listen to Classical Music, as indicated in my Spotify

Smart Aquaponics Systems for Urban Farming (JTEC - 2020)

A Smart Aquaponics Systems for Urban Farming
This project presents the applications of Internet of Things (IoT) as
instrumentations to automate traditional aquaponics environment. Presently, the
economic situation in Malaysia during COVID19 are facing a significant amount of
demand in food production. Correlating to that, research has shown that
Aquaponics can help solving this problem by increasing efficiencies in
conventional farming and consequently, increasing food production to the local
community in Malaysia. However, extensive and arduous labours have made
aquaponics to be costly disadvantageous especially for small farmers and
hobbyists hence making it to be inaccessible to certain group or individuals.
This study aims to provide automation to Aquaponics environment by developing an
IoT based prototype to monitor and gather parameter data involving water level,
humidity and temperature in the Aquaponics ecology. Using the aforementioned
parameter data, the tendencies and trends in Aquaponics systems can be analysed.
The project features the use of sensors like two water level sensors, liquid
temperature sensor, and humidity sensor to collect parameters wirelessly by
using an ESP 8266 that will trigger the actuators when certain events are met.
The actuator will serve as the balance check for the symbiotic ecology and
accommodating parameter it lacks based on the sensor data. Moreover, the project
is divided into three different development phases; setting up normal aquaponics
ecology, implementing automation in aquaponics systems and lastly analysing data
that comes from the sensor of the prototype. Therefore, this solution is
expected to increase efficiencies in the Aquaponics environment without needing
human intervention hence reducing the cost of labour in aquaponics and
consequently producing more yield that is organic and healthy.  The project
will serve great impact to the local community especially during this pandemic
outbreak where food production is demanded greatly. In addition, the yield from
aquaponics is unquestionably nutritious and heath enthusiasts will surely
