Jeff Aaron serves as Juniper’s Vice President of Enterprise Marketing, where he
is responsible for strategy, product marketing,messaging,and positioning for
Juniper’s entire enterprise portfolio, which includes wired/wireless access,
SD-WAN, data center, and security. Jeff came to Juniper via the acquisition of
Mist systems, where he was VP of marketing and led all strategy, messaging,
demand generation, and branding for the industry’s premier AI-driven wireless
platform.

Jeff has over 25 years of experience marketing in thehigh-techspace, having
worked at various software, networking and telecommunications companies
includingPernixData, a leading storage acceleration and analytics company
(acquired by Nutanix), Silver Peak Systems,Airespace(acquired by Cisco),
Turnstone Systems, and Newbridge Networks (acquired by Alcatel). He began his
career as a senior consultant at Ernst and Young where he counseled Fortune 100
companies with IT design and planning. Jeff earned his BA from Duke University
with majors in Computer Science and Economics.

John Burke

John Burke, CIO and Principal Research Analyst with Nemertes Research, advises
key enterprise and vendor clients, and conducts and analyzes primary research in
these areas. Mr. Burke leads research on the hybrid cloud, the modern
software-defined WAN, automation, and DevOps.

An established speaker, Mr. Burke has appeared at UBM’s Interop events, IDG’s IT
Roadmap and Tech Target events, and in private events for Comcast, Cisco,
Citrix, AT&T, and other vendors.He has spoken on subjects including SD-WAN,
hybrid cloud, automation and the new data center; SDN and NFV; security; and
desktop virtualization. Mr. Burke writes frequently for Network World, Tech
Target, and other media sources.

As a research analyst and consultant, Mr. Burke draws on his past and current
experience as a practitioner and leader in IT to better understand the needs of
IT executives and the challenges facing vendors trying to sell to them. His
experience has given him broad and deep knowledge in computing, communications,
and IT management.

Mr. Burke’s IT experience includes enterprise architecture and directing the
voice and data networking, desktop support, and central systems management
groups at the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, MN). He also directed central
systems, networks, and desktop support at The College of St. Catherine (now St.
Catherine University, St. Paul, MN), and supported the engineering faculty in
their application of IT to teaching and research at The Johns Hopkins University
(Baltimore, MD).

Mr. Burke holds a master’s degree in the history of science and a bachelor of
science degree in electrical engineering, both from The Johns Hopkins
University. His interests include baking, birding, and beer.
