Over the past decade, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, The Emir of
Qatar, has demonstrated unwavering commitment and dedication to the progress and
prosperity of our nation. Under his visionary leadership, Qatar has achieved
remarkable advancements across various spheres, including international sports
events, economic growth, social development, and global engagement.
During these ten years, we have witnessed Qatar’s transformation into a vibrant
and thriving society. The Emir’s strategic initiatives have propelled Qatar’s

OBJECTIVES OF THE QATAR-NETHERLANDS PROCLAMATION BOOK THE QATAR EMBASSY
BILATERAL PUBLICATION, AIMS TO:

o Create a platform for suppliers and businesses from both Qatar and Netherlands
to connect, collaborate, and explore potential partnerships.

2. Highlight Major Leadership:
o Showcase the contributions of key leaders and pioneers in the private sectors
of both countries. This includes recognizing individuals and organizations that
have significantly influenced economic and infrastructural development.

3. Promote Economic and Infrastructural Advancements:
o Illuminate the major economic and infrastructural changes driven by private
sector initiatives. Highlight successful projects and innovations that have
propelled growth in both Qatar and Netherlands.

4. Foster Bilateral Relations:
o Strengthen the bilateral ties between Qatar and Netherlands by promoting
mutual understanding and cooperation through shared success stories and
collaborative opportunities.

5. Celebrate Achievements:
o Commemorate the milestones achieved over the past decade under the leadership

QATAR NETHERLANDS BUSINESS YEAR

• The Bilateral publication Qatar – Netherlands shall be a milestone in the
Qatari needs calendar for entrepreneurs from Netherlands.

• The next five years of Qatar’s development and possibilities will be showcased
with an aim to harness the objective and challenges towards successful build-up
and deliverance of the Qatar National Vision 2030 with the huge infra and
superstructure projects planned in the State of Qatar in the coming months and
years, with new tenders from the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy,
Ashgaal, Kahrama, etc.

The National Day celebrations Agenda:
Elegant cocktail and celebration book launch ceremony to celebrate the State of
Qatar, its pioneers, and its Dutch and Qatari partners for their remarkable
success.
The Ambassador stated that this celebration will highlight outstanding
accomplishments and developments that were achieved under the wise leadership of
His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar.

and pioneers in foreign partner countries, particularly those who have played a
key role in economic and infrastructural development.



LOCAL REGIONAL & INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION NETWORK



THE COMMEMORATIVE BOOK WILL BE PRESENTED TO THE FOLLOWING DUTCH & QATARI
AUTHORITIES, DECISION MAKERS & BUSINESS LEADERS IN NETHERLANDS & QATAR : *

This publication, accessible to a large international audience, will enable
small and medium-sized enterprises to learn about and engage in trade, commerce,
and cooperation in local industrial development projects, as well as in
investment and technology transfer.

1. Printed business cards: The Qatar Embassy will distribute printed business
cards featuring a QR code to all participants at the National Day cocktail.
Scanning the QR code will provide automatic access to the digital version of the
dedicated website and the publication.





2. A MOBILE DIGITAL PLAYER
Users will have the ability to watch the video, read the book, and/or download
all content. They will find extensive information and contacts in Qatar,
including details about embassy services, bilateral companies, Chambers of
Commerce, and more.
For local decision-makers, visiting dignitaries, and businessmen traveling to
Qatar for forums, exhibitions, or other events, as well as Qatari dignitaries
traveling abroad, a USB/OTV stick serves as the ideal tool to promote the
publication and website. It also facilitates connections with local
organizations and services in Qatar.
The USB/OTV stick is compatible with both computers and mobile phones (Android
and iPhone). It contains a wealth of data and can be connected to any mobile or
computer device for locating, writing, chatting, and various other functions.




3. NFC TECHNOLOGY

The publication will be shared by the Qatar Embassy, government offices, leading
Qatari firms, and Dutch and Qatari sponsors and advertisers with their visitors
through an NFC business card and NFC static base. The NFC link will
automatically provide access to the video, the publication’s website, and/or the
Embassy’s website. Additionally, the embassy and other Qatari organizations will
facilitate access to the publication via an NFC base available to visitors.

4. PUBLICATION HARD COPIES

The Embassy of the State of Qatar to Netherlands will send multiple copies in
English langage, to key business leaders and government authorities, and also
offer the publication to its guests at the National Day cocktail.
In addition, the publication in Arabic and English will be available for Qatari
guests present but also shared in Qatar for promotion to both countries. The
Embassy of Netherlands to Qatar will obtain copies for its own distribution.
Partners and sponsors will receive copies for local distribution, accompanied by
QR business cards, NFC supports, mobile digital readers and more are widely
circulated thanks to access QR business cards, NFC supports, mobile digital
readers and to the website available throughout the period and during the year
2025.
