AMATEUR RADIO FIELD DAY 2022

The annual ham radio open house, also known as ARRL Ham Radio Field Day is
almost here and the DCARC will be holding the event on June 25-26 at Centennial
Park, near the intersection of 9th and Iowa streets, in Lawrence. We are
planning to meet at the East Shelter House, right off of 9th street and directly
behind Biemers BBQ, at around 11:00 a.m. Saturday the 25th, and planning to run
till noon Sunday. The radios, antennas and most equipment have been figured out,
but if anyone has equipment they want to bring please do so. Better to have and
not need than need and not have. Please join us, the event should be a good time
and help us be better prepared in case of an emergency.
