Our foundation FMG At FMG, we see health inequities every day. There are fewer
services. As well as fewer resources and fewer health professionals in Nigeria's
rural areas. And as a result, this has a great impact on disease, life
expectancy, and mental wellbeing.

We take on the key issues that impact communities in Nigeria through; Health
Promotion & Community Engagement, Research and Policy and Strategy, Design &
Implementation.

ABOUT OUR FOUNDATION

Fidelity Medical Group is a community-led registered charity working to improve
the health and well-being of communities in Nigeria. We cater for communities in
defining the challenges and barriers affecting our health and well-being. We
provide a platform for people to establish a common voice around systemic
problems, and we work to co-design and mobilize the tools, skills, partnerships
and investment needed to implement solutions that improve health outcomes across
Nigeria.

We exist to give those in rural and remote regions better access to lifesaving
healthcare. At FMG, we care deeply about the places where we live and work. From
the remotest outback regions to pristine coastal areas and bustling rural
farming districts. Together, we’re creating meaningful change to give people a
better chance at health in our regions.

free from discrimination and harassment. We actively seek to dismantle
systematic barriers that impact our health.

We will act with conviction and integrity and take informed risks. We
acknowledge that Nigerians' social identities are multiple and interlocking and
that health inequities must be viewed and addressed through an intersectional
lens which includes, but not limited to; ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic status
and disability.

At Fidelity Medical Group(FMG), we see health inequities every day. There are
fewer services. As well as fewer resources and fewer health professionals in the
rural parts of Nigeria. And as a result, this has a great impact on disease,
life expectancy, and mental wellbeing. Research shows that mortality rates are
1.8 times higher than they are in urban areas. Four in five rural people don’t
see a specialist when they need to, Mostly, because there isn’t one close by.
