 * FIRST TRANSITION – DRAFT
   
   Here’s a first draft of the transition between Scene 1 and Scene 2. We’re
   drawn away from the cafe by the change in volume and proximity of the rain,
   as an ambulance approaches from afar. The siren fades as church bells ring
   thrice, followed by a haunting Angus Dei interrupted by Jean’s cell phone.

 * THE NON-DEAD MAN’S RINGTONE
   
   When another phone rings in the church – sparking the ire of Mrs. G – I plan
   to use this “classic” ringtone. iPhone Marimba Ringtone The sound will
   emanate from a speaker strategically placed underneath an unsuspecting
   audience member’s seat.

   These two pieces have potential for the end of part one. I think it will work
   beautifully with the falling stationary, yet they have a sense of

   This is a video made shortly after September 11th when Blue Man Group started
   venturing into live and recorded music. Gives me chills every time. The way
   each sheet of paper invokes a connection with the person whom it belonged to
   – with snippets of personalized, abstract, yet recognizable information
   created by unknown, potentially deceased…
