My passion in life is to help children and families grow together in a healthy
and fulfilling way.



I have worked with families facing a variety of challenges for the past 30
years, including families with children with special health care and learning
needs, families going through major transitions such as divorce or death of a
family member, and families facing drug and alcohol abuse.
I value families as the most qualified experts on a team working to find the
support needed to enhance growth and well-being of their children. I also work
with families and the professional team members to understand the mpact of
interrupted development on growth and well-being.

Children tell us how well they are doing through their behavior, and
understanding this pattern of communication helps parents, siblings, relatives,
and teachers understand how to support positive behavior and listen to
behavioral challenges. The best care comes from families working with
specialists to enhance functioning, communication, and success across the life
span.

No one specialist knows a child or a fam ily better than the family, or has all
the answers, but rather, works best when working as a team. And this includes
the child and the family members. Each child is an individual, deserving
individual care and individual experiences that lead to a fulfilling life.
