Ai Authentic Dim Sum Restaurant is one of the few places you can find good dim
sum in Setapak, with fresh ingredients and affordable prices. Customers love
their prawn rolls, salad prawn, lau sar pau (salted egg yolk bun), and woo kok
(fried taro puff). For dessert, try their sai mai lou (sago soup).

Located in Pudu, Tuck Cheong gives out an old-school vibe that you won't find in
most dim sum restaurants these days. This place is often frequented by locals,
and is self service. Make sure to come early and try their siew mai, lo mai kai,
and homemade fish balls.

Enjoy affordable dim sum all day long for only RM3 per plate. It's a good dim
sum fix if you're on a budget, but it isn't the best of the best. Nevertheless,
it's open 24 hours and offers a wide variety of dim sum, including prawn rolls
and fried lo bak kou (radish cake).

One of the dim sum places that only opens at night, Sing Pao is generous with
their portions and offers a few unique treats. Regulars recommend their porridge
with ground nuts and bits of dried oyster and century egg. Their bacon wrapped
fish ball and har mai (prawn dumplings) are also must-try dishes.

Even after expanding, Hoong Foong is still usually crowded with people in the
mornings. They consistently offer quality dim sum, including your regular
steamed siew mai, har gow, and chee cheong fun, as well as a variety of fried
options. The drinks here like their kopi peng and teh peng are really kaw and
tasty as well!

One of the most popular places among Puchong's dim sum joints, Foo Hing never
fails to impress with their excellent service and yummy dim sum. Almost
everything on the menu tastes great, especially the char siew pau, which is
smaller in size but packed with filling. They are also known for their flaky and
creamy Portugese tarts.

breakfast, lunch, or dinner. With around 10 franchises all over Klang Valley,
customers say the one at Damansara Jaya is one of the best. When you're there,
make sure to try the siew mai, porridge, egg tarts, and golden lau sar pau.

sharkfin mai, and even clam mai. They are also open late into the night, so you
can enjoy a hearty dim sum meal for supper whenever you're feeling like it.

earlier in the morning if you want to get parking. Customers love their siew
mai, har gow, and char siew pau.

authentic dim sum that tastes exactly the same as 30 years ago. The dim sum
portions here are bigger than usual, and some of the highlights include their
steamed fish balls and dai pau.

Phang Kee is your typical neighbourhood dim sum spot in Sri Petaling, offering
the usual dim sum fare done well. From the har gow and siew mai, to the chee
cheong fun, you'll definitely be satisfied each time you dine here. You should
also try their mushroom pau, lin yong pau (lotus paste bun), and kai wor pau
(glutinous rice in a beehive-shaped bun).

been serving up delicious dim sum for years. While slightly pricier, the quality
of the dim sum here is definitely more refined. They are also famous for their
char siew and siew yoke, so don't forget to order ahead of time to avoid
disappointment.

The Ming Room prides itself in serving authentic Cantonese cuisine, and is
reputed as one of the most established Chinese restaurants in the area. Enjoy
elevated versions of your favourite dim sum, such as siew mai and scallop
dumplings, plump and succulent with generous fillings. The fried lo bak kou is
also full of wok hei, while the char siew puffs are deliciously light and
buttery.
