a women in tech blog and evolved to grow their platform into an active
women-in-tech support hub, where they provide advice, tools, events, and jobs to

supporting more women to pursue careers in the tech sector and creating a
pipeline of future female talent within N Brown, and our partnership with

They did it! On Sunday, five N Brown colleagues completed the Manchester
marathon in aid of our charity partner FareShare Greater Manchester 🏃‍♂️ A
massive congratulations and well done to Joseph Mountain, Christopher Pugh,
Rebecca Makin, Shaun Hulm and Ted (Mark) Edwards who not only completed the 26.2
mile course, but have raised an incredible £2424.36. As FareShare Greater
Manchester is one of our charity partners, N Brown will match this donation,
meaning FareShare can help feed more people in our local community ❤️

We're proud to share that last night we were highly commended in the Best
Newcomer category at the Movement to Work Youth Employability Awards 2024 🏆
Ciara Tully (Assoc CIPD) and Shannen Gordon were at the awards ceremony and have
shared their thoughts on this recognition: "It’s fantastic to be recognised by
Movement to Work, our newest partnership whose aim is to encourage employers to
deliver high quality programmes for the talent of the future, in particular for
those that need it most. We’re so proud of the work we’re doing in this space,
most recently delivering our first “Get Started in Digital Retail” programme in
partnership with The Prince's Trust. It was really inspiring being in a room
full of incredible organisations and individuals celebrating the impact we’re
all making to tackle youth unemployment and learning about some of the
breakthrough initiatives that are making a difference. This is just the
beginning for us, and we’re looking forward to seeing what we can achieve

Make a Difference!   Yesterday, our CEO of Retail Sarah Welsh and 11 colleagues
from the Retail team used their Make a Difference day to volunteer at Moores
House - the Retail Trust’s residential home in Salford. The team put their
interior design skills to work to transform the resident’s activity room and
outdoor seating area with some of our fabulous homeware products.   They didn’t
stop there; the team then hosted a mini styling session over afternoon tea where
they showcased some of our wonderful Ambrose Wilson products and gave residents
top tips on how to dress in this season’s trends.   The team loved spending time
with the residents at Moores House and leaving them with two beautiful spaces to

#MentalHealthAwarenessWeek With the theme for this year being ‘Movement: Moving
more for our mental health’, we invited Thomas Dunning to be our guest speaker.
Thomas is a passionate mental health activist and having struggled with mental
illness himself, Thomas founded Mental Health Runner, using his passion for
running to help both himself and others find a form of escapism. Thomas gave a
very open and powerful talk, and we can’t thank him enough for sharing his story
with us this week. We also held a silent disco at our Head Office to help our
colleagues move for their own mental health, and our Logistics colleagues had on
site massages and chose to 'wear it green' to raise awareness and promote open
conversations around the importance of mental health 💚  #ProudToBeNBrown

campaign that champions boldness, truthfulness, and supportiveness, encouraging
women to defy conventional wisdom and dress according to their joy and attitude
- not their age. The campaign is supported by a new collection that invites
women to embrace their individuality and style with confidence, celebrating
self-expression and challenging ageism stereotypes that often plague middle-aged
women. In a world where societal norms dictate what women should wear based on
age, JD Williams disrupts the status quo with a rallying cry. Esme Stone, Head

Ultra Challenge for our charity partner – the Retail Trust. Led by our CEO of
Retail, Sarah Welsh, the team will be walking 25km in the Peak District to raise
vital funds for the Trust. From 1832 onwards, the Retail Trust has been caring
for and protecting the lives of people working in retail. The charity believes
the health of our colleagues is the foundation they need to flourish in both
work and life, creating a more sustainable and successful future for retail.

Today we announced that Ron McMillan will be retiring as Chair and stepping down
from the Board with effect from 30 April 2024, for personal reasons. Our Group
CEO, Steve Johnson, will be taking on the role as interim Executive Chair and
Chief Executive Officer until a new permanent Chair is appointed. Steve Johnson
said: "Ron has made a significant contribution as Chair and has played a

Today marks the starts of Global Intergenerational Week – an annual worldwide
campaign encouraging everyone to embrace intergenerational practice and
relationships. The campaign seeks to highlight the amazing outcomes that are
achieved when people of all ages come together to form vital and lasting
connections.   Here at N Brown, we have our very own intergenerational and
allies community, known as GeN Brown. Age is a key strand in our EDI&B strategy
and it’s something we can all relate to. We created this community to ensure we
continue to represent colleagues of all ages - working in intergenerational
teams and environments is key to understanding each other’s experience,
wellbeing and point of view. Through education of ourselves about the realities
that different generations have faced throughout their careers we can create an

To mark World Earth Day today, colleagues in our sustainability team are taking
over our internal comms to share tips on how to be more sustainable. We’re also
taking a moment to look back at the past 12 months and some of the ways in which
we’re helping to safeguard the environment through our SUSTAIN strategy. 🌳
We're proud to have been partnered with Canopy for one year. This partnership
cements our commitment to keep vital forests out of our viscose fabrics and
paper packaging. 🌍 Science-based targets approval. Our near-term science-based
targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions have been approved by the Science
Based Targets initiative (SBTi). By 2030, we’re committed to reduce scope 1, 2
and 3 carbon emissions from our operations by 46%. These commitments are part of
our wider target to achieve net zero emissions by 2040 through the British
Retail Consortium’s Climate Action Roadmap. 👚 Textiles 2030. As part of our
goal to make all our own brand products sustainable by 2030, BCI cotton now
accounts for 70% of cotton in our own brand products. ♻ Sample Sales. Our
in-house sample sales mean that none of our samples go to waste and help us to
raise money for our charity partners FareShare Greater Manchester and the Retail

Today we announced that Ron McMillan will be retiring as Chair and stepping down
from the Board with effect from 30 April 2024, for personal reasons. Our Group
CEO, Steve Johnson, will be taking on the role as interim Executive Chair and
Chief Executive Officer until a new permanent Chair is appointed. Steve Johnson
said: "Ron has made a significant contribution as Chair and has played a
critical role in the transformation of this company. On behalf of the Board, I

Today marks the starts of Global Intergenerational Week – an annual worldwide
campaign encouraging everyone to embrace intergenerational practice and
relationships. The campaign seeks to highlight the amazing outcomes that are
achieved when people of all ages come together to form vital and lasting
connections.   Here at N Brown, we have our very own intergenerational and
allies community, known as GeN Brown. Age is a key strand in our EDI&B strategy
and it’s something we can all relate to. We created this community to ensure we
continue to represent colleagues of all ages - working in intergenerational
teams and environments is key to understanding each other’s experience,
wellbeing and point of view. Through education of ourselves about the realities
that different generations have faced throughout their careers we can create an
all-inclusive working environment. #ProudToBeNBrown

To mark World Earth Day today, colleagues in our sustainability team are taking
over our internal comms to share tips on how to be more sustainable. We’re also
taking a moment to look back at the past 12 months and some of the ways in which
we’re helping to safeguard the environment through our SUSTAIN strategy. 🌳
We're proud to have been partnered with Canopy for one year. This partnership
cements our commitment to keep vital forests out of our viscose fabrics and
paper packaging. 🌍 Science-based targets approval. Our near-term science-based
targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions have been approved by the Science
Based Targets initiative (SBTi). By 2030, we’re committed to reduce scope 1, 2
and 3 carbon emissions from our operations by 46%. These commitments are part of
our wider target to achieve net zero emissions by 2040 through the British
Retail Consortium’s Climate Action Roadmap. 👚 Textiles 2030. As part of our
goal to make all our own brand products sustainable by 2030, BCI cotton now
accounts for 70% of cotton in our own brand products. ♻ Sample Sales. Our
in-house sample sales mean that none of our samples go to waste and help us to
raise money for our charity partners FareShare Greater Manchester and the Retail
Trust, with almost £10,000 raised since last summer. #ProudToBeNBrown #EarthDay

community working together to tackle the tech gender gap. SheCanCode started as
a women in tech blog and evolved to grow their platform into an active
women-in-tech support hub, where they provide advice, tools, events, and jobs to
support and inspire women to succeed in their tech careers. We’re committed to
supporting more women to pursue careers in the tech sector and creating a
pipeline of future female talent within N Brown, and our partnership with
SheCanCode will help us do just that. Keep an eye out for some exciting events

They did it! On Sunday, five N Brown colleagues completed the Manchester
marathon in aid of our charity partner FareShare Greater Manchester 🏃‍♂️ A
massive congratulations and well done to Joseph Mountain, Christopher Pugh,
Rebecca Makin, Shaun Hulm and Ted (Mark) Edwards who not only completed the 26.2
mile course, but have raised an incredible £2424.36. As FareShare Greater
Manchester is one of our charity partners, N Brown will match this donation,
meaning FareShare can help feed more people in our local community ❤️

We're proud to share that last night we were highly commended in the Best
Newcomer category at the Movement to Work Youth Employability Awards 2024 🏆
Ciara Tully (Assoc CIPD) and Shannen Gordon were at the awards ceremony and have
shared their thoughts on this recognition: "It’s fantastic to be recognised by
Movement to Work, our newest partnership whose aim is to encourage employers to
deliver high quality programmes for the talent of the future, in particular for
those that need it most. We’re so proud of the work we’re doing in this space,
most recently delivering our first “Get Started in Digital Retail” programme in
partnership with The Prince's Trust. It was really inspiring being in a room
full of incredible organisations and individuals celebrating the impact we’re
all making to tackle youth unemployment and learning about some of the
breakthrough initiatives that are making a difference. This is just the
