CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

Umma University aims at offering all our students a broad and balanced
curriculum that provides rewarding and stimulating activities to prepare them
for the best social and cultural life.

SCHOOL OF BUSINESS & TECHNOLOGY

SBT offers programmes spanning from the masters level, undergraduate, senate
approved diplomas and certificates and short courses in business and technology.

SCHOOL OF SHARIA & ISLAMIC STUDIES

The school offers programmes spanning from the masters level, undergraduate,
senate approved diplomas and certificates in Islamic Studies and Arabic.

SCHOOL OF LAW AND SHARI’A

The School offers Bachelor of Law and Sharia

SCHOOL OF EDUCATION & SOCIAL SCIENCES

The School offers Bachelor of Education Arts.

SCHOOL OF NURSING & MIDWIFERY

The School offers a range of courses spannaing from bachelors, diplomas and
certifiactes in nursing, community health and development.

LEARNING CENTRES AND TVET INSTITUTES

Umma University has two learning Centres located in Garissa and Mombasa, and a
TVET institute loacated in Thika Makongeni.
