   BIO
   
   JOHN IS BOTH A CONSUMMATE MUSICIAN AND PRODUCER/ENGINEER. HE HAS SPENT A LOT
   OF TIME ON BOTH SIDES OF THE MIC.
   
   John McVey began his music career as a singer/songwriter. He is an award
   winning songwriter (Natl. Academy of Songwriters - Acoustic Artist of The
   Year, Kerrville New Folk- winner.) While touring extensively in the late '90s
   and early '00s, John began producing albums for local and national artists in
   the folk/rock genre. He was noticed by Coupe Studios in Boulder, CO, and they
   hired him on as a producer and engineer in 2002. Known for his vocal coaching
   and vocal and instrumental arranging skills, he also plays guitars, bass,
   keyboards and many other instruments. He currently runs Cinder Sound Studio
   in Boulder.
