range of merchandise upon approval. Unlike credit programs, Sears’ leasing
program offers instant decisions with no credit required. To qualify, you must
be at least 18 years old with a valid Social Security or Individual Taxpayer ID
Number and meet the minimum monthly income. With leasing, all you need to do is
make your first payment, and you can take your items home that day (when leasing
in-store) or we’ll deliver them to you. Apply and get a decision in seconds and
enjoy easy payments and a flexible payment plan.
What do I need to apply?
Continue to lease; Purchase the leased item(s) (not available in NJ, VT, WI,
and WV); or Return your leased item(s) to WhyNotLeaseIt (normal wear & tear
excepted).
Take advantage of our early purchase options within 30, 60 or 90 days for 5, 8,
or 10% over cash price, respectively. (Early purchase options are not available
in NJ, VT, WV, and WI.)

lease has a 5-month minimum term [“Initial Term”]. Must be at least 18 years old
and income requirements apply. Qualifying merchandise of at least $199 is
required to enter into a lease at sears.com. Excludes non-durable goods. No
security deposit required. Lease requires consumer to make first payment at
lease signing, plus 19 weekly (offered online only) lease payments, 9 biweekly
lease payments or 4 monthly lease payments. After fulfilling the Initial Term,
you may: (1) continue to lease by making periodic payments in accordance with
the terms of the lease agreement; (2) exercise a purchase option per the terms
of the lease agreement (not available in NJ, VT, WI, or WV); or (3) return the
leased items to WhyNotLeaseIt. For example, leased item(s) with lease amount of
$600 with a weekly lease payment schedule (offered online only) would require
$60 first lease payment followed by 19 weekly payments of approximately $25.26
plus tax, or a biweekly lease payment schedule would require $60 first lease
payment followed by 9 biweekly payments of approximately $53.33 plus tax, or a
monthly lease payment schedule would require $120 first lease payment followed
by 4 monthly payments of approximately $105.00 plus tax, with total cost to

WHO IS SEARS' LEASING PARTNER?
Sears’ leasing partner is TEMPOE,LLC. dba WhyNotLeaseIt®. WhyNotLeaseIt is an
independent service provider. Transactions with WhyNotLeaseIt® are secure,
confidential and compliant with all federal and State consumer leasing laws.
IS THERE A MINIMUM LEASING TERM?
Yes, the lease has a 5-month minimum term. If available, you may be able to
exercise an early purchase option within 30, 60, or 90 days of your lease.
Purchase options are not available in NJ, VT, WI, and WV.
WHAT DO I NEED TO APPLY?
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Minimum monthly income
• Valid Social Security or Taxpayer Identification Number
• Make the first payment and set up ongoing payments
• Valid email address
• Valid checking account or credit/debit card
WHAT ARE MY EARLY PURCHASE OPTION?
You may have the option to purchase your leased item(s) without having to wait
until the end of your 5-month minimum lease term. If available, you may purchase
your leased item(s) within 30, 60 or 90 days from the beginning of your lease
for 5%, 8%, or 10% over the cash price, respectively.

Early purchase options are not available in NJ, VT, WI, and WV.
WHAT IF I DO NOT WANT TO PURCHASE MY ITEM(S) EARLY?
If you decide not to take advantage of the Early Purchase option, you will
continue making lease payments for the 5-month minimum term. Once you have
completed the 5-month minimum term you may: (1) continue to lease by making
payments on the same payment frequency; (2) exercise a purchase option per the
terms of the lease agreement (not available in NJ, VT, WI, & WV); or (3) return
leased items to WhyNotLeaseIt®
WHO SHOULD I CONTACT WITH QUESTIONS ABOUT MY LEASE?
You may contact WhyNotLeaseIt® with all questions about your lease. Their
customer service department is available 7 days a week. They can be reached by
phone at 1-855-965-4669 and by email at sears@whynotleaseit.com. You can also
access information about your lease online at the customer service center.
DO I MAKE PAYMENTS AT THE STORE?
You will make your first lease payment in store or online if shopping on
sears.com. Ongoing lease payments are auto deducted from your preferred payment
method on the dates listed in your payment schedule.
HOW DO I PURCHASE MY LEASED ITEMS?
You can purchase your leased items from WhyNotLeaseIt®. Once the purchase is
complete, you will receive proof of ownership from WhyNotLeaseIt.
Purchase options are not available in NJ, VT, WI, and WV.
HOW DO I RETURN AN ITEM I’M LEASING?
If you are within Sears’ return policy window, you may return your item to
Sears. Once your 5-month minimum term is met you may return your leased item(s)
to WhyNotLeaseIt®. Call 1-855-965-4669 or email sears@whynotleaseit.com for more
information.
