Buy Now I am looking to return my tickets: You can return your tickets on the exchange. Lyte will make you an offer on the spot—sometimes more and sometimes less than you paid, depending on demand for tickets. Lyte’s mission is to ensure the next fan in line gets to go at a fair and marketable price. You will be paid within 1 business day after the event. I am looking to request a ticket that is sold out: Request the ticket you’re looking for and lock in the price with a credit card. Once Lyte gets a ticket you requested from another fan, you will be charged exactly what Lyte quoted you. No hidden fees. View or cancel your request at any time before it is filled. Tickets will be delivered to you by the official ticketing platform. I want to understand Lyte pricing: Lyte prices are based on fair market value and may be higher than original prices if there are significantly more requests than tickets. However, Lyte’s prices are always lower than third-party websites. Lyte technology drives prices back to the original value. By using the Fan-to-Fan Exchange, you are helping us in our fight against scalping. What is the Fan-To-Fan Exchange? The Fan-To-Fan Exchange, powered by Lyte, is a place where you can return or request tickets once a certain ticket type sells out. Check out the [Exchange] for more details. How does the Exchange issue tickets? When your request is filled, you get a new ticket delivered to you by our primary ticket issuer. All tickets purchased from the Exchange are newly issued and backed by us so you don’t have to worry about any issues at the gate. Why are the prices sometimes higher than face value on the Fan-To-Fan Exchange? There are often far more people trying to buy tickets than there are tickets available. When that is the case we sometimes have to pay over face value to people returning their tickets. Prices through Lyte’s Fan-To-Fan Exchange are always better than prices on unofficial resale sites and all tickets sold through the Exchange are 100% guaranteed. When will I know if I have tickets on the Fan-To-Fan Exchange? Wait time depends on availability. Hang in there! Lyte has been able to fill up to 98% of requests for other big events. Ticket returns pick up the most in the last month. That’s when the line really starts moving. Why can’t I return my ticket before the ticket type I’m trying to return is sold out? If there is no waitlist for tickets there are no other fans with whom to exchange. For now, you can sign up and we will notify you once your ticket type has sold out. I have a question/issue with the Fan-To-Fan Exchange that is not answered here. Lyte’s customer support is standing by for you. Learn more about Lyte here. Contact them here and they will get right back to you. Ride share The designated Rideshare drop-off and pick-up is located at KEC Gate 1. Rideshare vehicles will not be allowed to enter at any other KEC parking gate unless they pay the parking fee. Official hotel & airport shuttle Need a ride? Pegasus is the official hotel shuttle and airport transportation provider for Louder Than Life 2024. If you are staying at a hotel in the downtown area, leave your car behind and jump on an air-conditioned motor coach for a ride to and from the festival site. Buy your pass HERE. Advance purchase is required, as there will be no on-site purchases. Walking Fans coming from the offsite parking lots or staying at nearby hotels on Phillips Lane, Crittenden Drive, and Preston Highway are permitted to walk in via any KEC entrance-including Gate 1. Be cautious of vehicle traffic and follow signage and the direction of police and parking staff. Bikes or on-demand transportation (Scooters, electric bikes) There will be self-service bicycle parking at Louder Than Life across from the main festival entrance. Please be prepared to provide your own bike lock and park at your own risk. Fans arriving via bike can enter KEC at Gate 2, 4 or 6. Fans arriving via “On Demand” transportation can also enter through the same gates and park in this self-park area. Where is the Home Bass Glamping located in the campgrounds? The Home Bass Glamping area is located in the campground in a shaded grass area between the Executive Strike and Spare Bowling Alley and the festival entrance. Can we add more people to our tent? No, depending on the package you select, you may only have 2 or 4 people per tent & up to 6 people per RV. How close will my vehicle be to the Home Bass camping area? Vehicles will be parked nearby and will be easily accessible from the Home Bass camping area. There will be a designated area for campers to load and unload upon arrival and departure. Is Home Bass open to all campers? No, Home Bass is only open to campers who have purchased this package. A separate wristband will be received upon check-in and will be needed to enter this area at all times. I have never stayed in an RV. What should I expect and why should I rent one in the Home Bass RV area? The Home Bass RVs are a convenient way to camp at Louder Than Life. The RVs are set up and ready to go when you arrive and there is dedicated staff to assist with your check in and show you how to use your RV. Staff will be there to assist if needed and then after the event you don’t have to drive your RV home. What kind of RV is provided? How does the security deposit work? The security deposit is refundable as long as there is no damage to the RV or tent. A pre-show inspection will be conducted upon check-in and the deposit is refundable as long as there is no damage to the unit. Please note that smoking in the RV or tent will automatically result in a full loss of your security deposit. Refunds will be processed approximately 14 business days after the festival. What is a waitlist? When a show is not currently on sale (ex: pre-sale or a sold out pass type or show), items may be listed on a waitlist to offer festival or camping passes that aren’t available to the public. Due to high demand and limited availability, pricing will be dynamic and is subject to change. Do all passes have a waitlist? No, not every pass will offer a waitlist, due to availability. How do I sign up for the waitlist? While viewing the Louder Than Life shopping cart, log in to your Front Gate Tickets account HERE. Click on the “YOUR ACCOUNT” tab at the top of the page. If a waitlist is available for the event you are interested in, you will see “WAITLIST” in your account options. Once you click WAITLIST, you will see a list of ticket options available to request. (The passes and prices listed below are hypothetical) Select your desired pass and click “Request.” The following prompt should pop up. If you don’t see anything, make sure you have pop-ups enabled. You will be prompted to update your Payment Method and Shipping Address in the following steps. Once your request is submitted, you will receive an email confirmation summarizing your request. Please note there is no way to estimate how long it will take to be next in line. There is no guarantee that you will receive an offer to purchase waitlist passes. If passes become available to purchase and your request is approved, you will be sent a waitlist confirmation. Please review this confirmation to ensure that your information is still correct. Unless you opt out of your request by the date listed in your email confirmation, you will then be charged the full amount requested to your stored Payment Method. *Please review your stored payment method. Since only one payment method can be saved to your Front Gate account at a time, any layaway purchases made for an FGT event might have overwritten the payment method you entered at the time of the request. Upon payment, you will receive an Order Receipt and your order will be delivered to your stored Shipping Address if the purchase was made during the event’s shipping timeline. Am I guaranteed a pass if I'm on the waitlist? No. Signing up for the waitlist grabs a spot in line but does not guarantee that passes will be available at a later date. Can I request more than one type of pass? You can now add multiple items to your waitlist request! Please note: If your waitlist request is approved, ALL items on the request will be purchased. Please only request what you intend to purchase if your request is offered. Is there a layaway plan for waitlist passes? Currently, layaway is not available for waitlist passes. You will be charged full price at time of purchase. Once I'm on the waitlist, when will waitlist passes be offered? Waitlist passes will be released as they become available. You will receive the waitlist offer when your turn comes up, should they become available. You are not guaranteed an offer to purchase tickets. Will waitlist passes be mailed to me or will they be placed at will call? Waitlist passes will ship if they were purchased before the shipping cutoff. If your tickets are purchased too late to ship for your event, they can be picked up at the box office / will call window with a photo ID. How do I access my waitlist requests in my Front Gate tickets account? Log into your Front Gate Tickets account. Click on “YOUR ACCOUNT” at the top of the page. Then select “WAITLIST.” Can I cancel my waitlist if I change my mind? Yes, you can cancel your request at any time by logging into your Front Gate Tickets account then selecting “Waitlist” under the “Your Account” tab. Under your request confirmation, you will see a “Cancel Request” button. Please be sure you wish to cancel your request before doing so. Cancelling your request cannot be undone. Pricing and availability of waitlist items may vary if you decide to opt back in at a later time. Once you’ve canceled your request, you will receive an email confirmation of the cancellation, and you will no longer see this request in your account. Can I updated my payment method after I make the request? Yes, you can update your request at any time by logging into your Front Gate Tickets account and selecting “Waitlist” under the “My Account” tab. What payment types are included under 'cashless'? Yes, you can still use your credit or debit card at any point of sale terminal. What forms of payment will be accepted? Credit and debit Card payments will be accepted in addition to RFID wristband, Tap to Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Will all vendors accept RFID bands? Inclement Weather What Happens if There is Inclement Weather Louder Than Life is a rain or shine event, however, there are several instances in which the festival may be paused, evacuated, or canceled due to inclement weather, including (but not limited to): severe thunderstorms, lightning, high winds, hail, flooding, or as directed by local emergency personnel. Festival management is constantly monitoring weather conditions and consulting with the National Weather Service, as well as a private weather service, to ensure the safest event possible. If an evacuation due to inclement weather becomes necessary fans will either be advised to temporarily seek shelter or that the festival is cancelled for the remainder of the day. This notification will be made by audio and video announcements from the stages, the Louder Than Life Mobile App push notifications, and social media. We recommend fans download the Louder Than Life Mobile App and follow our socials to stay up to date with festival communication. Weather Evacuation If the Evacuation is Temporary, Seek Shelter Please be advised that tents, the VIP viewing platform, and temporary structures are not safe places to seek shelter Safe shelter instructions are below. Your designated shelter location is based on how you arrived at the festival. Festival staff will be available to assist you. Fans who parked: Fans who parked will return to their vehicle to seek shelter. Routes to return to parking will be posted to assist you. Fans who arrived by drop off or Rideshare: Fans that do not have access to a vehicle will seek shelter in Freedom Hall, located on the North End of Freedom Way. The entrance and routes are marked on the festival map and evacuation route signage will be available for assistance. Fans who are camping: Fans who are camping will return to the campground to seek shelter either in their vehicle or seek shelter in Freedom Hall. These locations are marked on the camping map and signage will be posted. Campers should not shelter in their tents. Fans with disabilities: Fans that may require additional time or assistance to evacuate are asked to check in at the Access Center upon arrival for additional information. After a Temporary Evacuation When fans are advised to seek temporary shelter, our intent is to restart the festival if weather permits. Fans will be advised if/when it is safe to return to the festival. Fans will be given ample time to re-enter the grounds before music will resume. If it is determined that, after a temporary evacuation, the festival is not able to re-start, fans will be notified that the festival is cancelled and asked to exit the grounds for the remainder of the day. Weather Cancellation If the Festival is Cancelled Due to Weather If the festival is cancelled for the remainder of the day, fans are asked to safely exit the festival grounds. Fans who may not be able to easily exit may seek temporary shelter in Freedom Hall. Personal Safety Plan Prepare in Advance All Louder Than Life fans are asked to have a personal safety plan in place. Your personal safety plan should include: * Reviewing the festival map in advance * Knowing your exits * Knowing where to seek shelter during an evacuation * Making a plan with everyone in your party on where to meet in the event of an evacuation. * If you are parking at Kentucky Expo Center, please remember where you parked. We recommend that you pack and leave extra water in your car. * If you use a rideshare service or get dropped off at Kentucky Expo Center, note the route to shelter in Freedom Hall. * If you are camping, please place all non-tethered items in your vehicle before departing for the festival. During inclement weather, campers should seek shelter in their vehicle and NOT inside a tent. There are permanent structures available at the campgrounds that are designated as a safe place to shelter. These locations are noted on the camping map. In the event of inclement weather or any other emergency, campers will be notified via the campgrounds PA system and staff will be available to direct campers as needed. Moshing What Is Moshing? Moshing occurs when a group of patrons run at and slam into each other during a show. It often takes place in a loosely organized circle within a general admission crowd (a “mosh pit”), although it can be as simple as two people repeatedly running into each other during a show and bouncing off in another direction. Moshing can occur in any area of a general admission crowd, including directly in front of the stages. What’s the big deal about Moshing? Moshing can be dangerous to both participants and bystanders. Moshers can suffer bruises, cuts, sprains, and broken bones, especially where some participants are bigger than others, are moshing more aggressively, or if someone gets hit when they’re not ready. Moshing is also dangerous for non-participants standing nearby. A mosher who breaks through the circle can seriously injure a bystander who is just watching the show and not bracing for impact. I don’t want to Mosh!! What can I do? Be aware of your surroundings! If you see a Mosh Pit forming near where you’re standing and are uncomfortable being in the proximity of such activities, find an alternate location from which to enjoy the performance! Crowd Surfing What is Crowd Surfing? Crowd surfing occurs where a patron is lifted up onto the hands of other patrons, who then pass the surfer along the top of the crowd. Surfing can take place anywhere in a general admission crowd. Crowd surfing most commonly (but not always) occurs in the areas directly in front of the stages. Surfing most commonly (but not always) travels from the back of the crowd TOWARDS the stage. What’s the big deal about Crowd Surfing? It is dangerous for both the surfer and other patrons. Crowd surfers have virtually no control of their bodies once they are above the crowd. Surfers can be groped, hit, or dropped. Although crowds experienced with surfers generally try to pass them towards the stage, there is no guarantee where or how the ride will end or how the surfer will find their friends in the crowd once they come down. Most of the audience is looking at the Stage! Surfers literally put their health and safety in the hands of people they don’t know who are paying attention to something else. Surfers also endanger other people. A crowd surfer struggling to stay aloft can kick someone in the head or poke them with their hands. Surfing is especially dangerous during an artist’s set, when most patrons are facing the stage and the surfer is being passed from behind them. I don’t want to Crowd Surf!! What can I do? Be aware of your surroundings! If Crowd Surfing is taking place near where you’re standing, and you are uncomfortable being in the proximity of such activities, find an alternate location from which to enjoy the performance! Claim Your Spawn FAMILIES THAT ROCK TOGETHER.. STAY TOGETHER! We love our little rockers, and we want them to stay safe and connected if y'all get separated! When you arrive to the festival, stop by the Guest Services booth by the Sober Life Tent, directly in front of the GA entrance, to get a wristband that will help us contact you in the event you are separated. Remember, when registering your child’s wristband, you can add your contact information as an emergency contact! If you need any assistance with this, please head to the wristband help tent or the box office! Should you get separated, show your spawn where the main Information Booth is just inside the main entrance as a meeting point for reunification. LET’S ROCK FAM! Covid Compliancy An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any place where people gather. By attending Louder Than Life Festival, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to Covid-19 and agree to waive all claims and potential claims against the City of Louisville, Jefferson County, the Kentucky Venues, Danny Wimmer Presents, LLC and their affiliated companies relating to such risks. Stay Hydrated! Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! You may bring in one factory-sealed bottle of water or an empty reusable bottle into the festival. Refill throughout the day with water at the hydration stations. Water & non-alcoholic beverages will be for sale at all concession stands. Drug & Alcohol Use Our team at DWP strives to provide a fun and safe atmosphere at Louder Than Life. It is your job to be responsible while having a good time. Underage drinking is prohibited as well as drugs of any kind (incl. cannabis, cannabis products). If you plan to drink alcohol on grounds, please also keep hydrated. Water stations are FREE, utilize that option! LENSAlert! If you would like to receive notifications, please TEXT LOUDER to 67283 to start receiving emergency notifications. Lock It Up While there will be security onsite, Louder Than Life cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items. When leaving your campsite and/or vehicle, please take valuables with you and lock your vehicle. Lockers are available in General Admission, VIP, & Angel’s Envy Top Shelf VIP, and are available to reserve currently, HERE. A detailed list of what is and is not allowed in the festival grounds can be found on our FESTIVAL INFO page. See something, say something Employees, contractors, vendors, artists, and guests are encouraged to report any interaction that makes them uncomfortable in any way. If you see something, say something. Security exists for the safety and well-being of all Louder Than Life participants. Flag down the nearest staff member, medical professional, or security guard if anything feels out of place or suspicious. What accessibility services does the festival provide? * Information on access to seated stage viewing platforms * Wheelchair accessible restrooms * Private portable accessible restrooms (others located at all portable restroom areas) * Private personal hygiene accommodations * Mobility-device charging and storage * Chilled medication storage (ice chest only) * General Event Information (also in Braille and large print as requested) * American Sign Language Interpreters (select sets based on requests) * A place to sit and relax and escape the elements as needed How do I access the seated viewing area(s)? When you enter the festival grounds, visit the access center to obtain a wristband allowing access to the dedicated viewing area. All passes to the festival are general admission or VIP, purchasing an accessible ticket is not necessary. The Accessible Viewing Areas are located in GA sections. The wristband does NOT guarantee a spot in these areas and is to show Festival staff that the patron plus one companion is eligible to enter the accessible viewing areas or the Deaf and Hard of Hearing areas. The accessibility wristband is non-transferrable. Please note that the viewing areas have a limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Chairs will be provided on the accessible viewing platform. We cannot save or reserve seats or areas on the platform. Once it’s determined that an accessible viewing area is filled to capacity (including adequate aisle space for entering and exiting the area), the area will not be available for additional entry. Signage will be placed at the Festival identifying all viewing areas for fans with mobility limitations and fans who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing. Please visit the Access Center for a map of the festival grounds. Louder Than Life is a general admission event with no assigned seating and does not allow lawn chairs due to capacity restraints. Exceptions can only be made for a medical necessity. Please email access@louderthanlifefestival.com to make this request. What services do you provide for deaf/hard of hearing fans? Fans that are Deaf/Hard of Hearing can request a a Deaf/HoH wristband at the Access Center. This wristband is to show Festival staff that the patron plus ONE companion is eligible to enter the ASL viewing areas. The accessibility wristband is non-transferrable. If you would like to request an ASL Interpreter, please submit a request form HERE. Please make your requests as early as possible, so our ASL Interpreters can best prepare. The ASL Interpreter request form will close one month prior to the festival. Note: while we will do our best to accommodate all ASL set requests, the earlier the request is made, the easier it will be for us to accommodate. Note, all Interpreter requests will not be guaranteed, and are subject to change. If I am in a wheelchair, can I get around? The Festival is wheelchair accessible but is a large venue with great distances between activities and attractions. Some travel is over natural terrain and terrain designed for motor vehicles. If it should rain, there could be mud. Please be safe, we will have staff on hand at the Accessibility Center to direct you to the best route to stages, platforms, and activations. The Festival does not provide personal care, golf cart rides, or push services within the festival grounds, and do not have any kind of wheelchairs for rent or loan. Wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, and three or four-wheeled scooters are allowed only for use by fans with mobility disabilities. For safety reasons, please note that guests may not use personal golf carts, all terrain vehicles, two wheeled scooters, or power driven mobility devices that move faster than a walking speed. Powered wheelchairs may also be charged at the Access Center. Fans should bring all cords and accessories needed to charge their devices. Chargers must use a 110-volt, 20-amp circuit. Accessible portable toilets are available at the ends of each bank of portable toilets throughout the festival venue. Are service animals allowed? Danny Wimmer Presents welcomes and supports the rights and attendance of all persons with disabilities that rely on the special skills of a trained service animal. What we DO NOT support are pets being misrepresented by their owners as service animals. Please leave your pet at home. SERVICE ANIMAL DEFINITION A ‘service animal’ is defined as “any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability. The work or tasks performed by a service animal must be directly related to the handler’s disability.” Emotional support, therapy animals, or comfort animals are not considered service animals under the ADA and therefore are not allowed inside of the venue at our festivals. SERVICE ANIMAL POLICIES * Service animals must be accompanied and under the supervision of the handler with the disability at all times. * Service animals are not permitted to be left unattended under any circumstances. * Handlers are required to be prepared for, and clean-up after, their animals at all times. * We reserve the right to remove and/or refuse access to any service animal from the campgrounds or venue if that animal is deemed to be a health or safety threat to festival fans, staff, or other service animals, or in violation of our policies. * All service animals must be credentialed by the Access Program staff (see the procedures below). * Please note that all service dogs, including those from out of state must provide proof of rabies vaccination. SERVICE ANIMAL PROCEDURES Upon entering the security checkpoint, you must let the guard know that they need to call ADA on the radio to come register your service animal. All service animals must be checked in by our Accessibility Staff and given the proper credentials before stepping foot into the venue. This process will be performed quickly and respectfully by Accessibility Staff. Security/Staff will be on the lookout for all animals to have a properly credentialed festival collar tag. Can I bring prescriptions or special dietary foods? Outside food and drink are not allowed inside the festival, but if you have a special medical dietary restriction, enough food for the one person for the day will be allowed. Fans are allowed to bring their medically necessary materials and medications into the festival, provided that all medicine has a prescription label with the fan’s name. Medicines needing to be inhaled, vaporized, or smoked are prohibited unless in a prescribed inhaler. Please note: Drugs of any kind (incl. cannabis, cannabis products) are prohibited. Staff at the entry gates will verify the contents of any medically necessary materials. Out of concern for the festival staff who handle the trash, please dispose of your medical waste and syringes in the proper disposal, which is located at the medical tent. Please do not dispose of these items in other trash bins at the festival. Please direct any further questions to access@louderthanlifefestival.com. Is there ADA parking? Designated parking for fans with disabilities will be available for purchase at the event within Lot A adjacent to South Wing C and the festival grounds. ADA parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. You must have a valid state issued Disabled Person Parking placard, permit or license plate-as well as proof it belongs to you for entry into Lot A. There will be a courtesy ADA shuttle from Lot A to and from the festival entrance. Is there ADA/accessible camping? Yes, Louder Than Life is committed to making the events accessible to everyone and there will be accessible campsites available. ADA Accessible showers will be available within camping. After reserving your campsite for Louder Than Life 2024, please fill out our ADA Camping Registration Form, HERE. Please email access@louderthanlifefestival.com if you have any questions. What will happen in an emergency evacuation? Louder Than Life is a rain or shine event, however, there are several instances in which we would pause, evacuate or cancel the show due to inclement weather, including (but not limited to): severe thunderstorms, lightning, high winds, hail, flooding, or as directed by local emergency personnel. In the event of an evacuation due to severe weather, fans who drove to the event will seek shelter in their vehicles. Fans who camped will return to the campgrounds to seek shelter in their vehicles. Fans who were dropped off or do not have access to a vehicle may be instructed to seek shelter in the Kentucky Expo Center’s Freedom Hall. Fans will be informed of any emergency situation via audio and video announcements from the stages, the LTL App push notifications and social media. We recommend fans download the LTL app and follow our socials to stay up-to-date with festival communication. In the event of an evacuation, staff will provide direction to all fans and the Access Center staff will work directly with fans with disabilities to get to shelter safely. More information on evacuation procedures will be available on our Health & Safety Page, the festival map and at the Access Center. When can I arrive to set up my campsite?
