I want to thank the citizens of Highlands County for giving me the opportunity
to be your sheriff. I am honored and humbled by your support. 

The goal of the Highlands County Sheriff's Office is to serve with fairness and
respect while keeping all residents and visitors of Highlands County safe. We
take a proactive approach to law enforcement, adjusting our priorities as needed
to meet new challenges. As always, one of our top goals is to eradicate the sale
of illegal drugs in our community, since the use and sale of these poisons are
at the root of many of our other crimes. 

In addition to this page, we also offer a free smartphone app available for both
iPhone and Android devices. I encourage you to download the app, as it offers us
the ability to send you push alerts about important information and also
provides a way for you to submit tips (anonymously if you like).
