Hire a coracle downstream from the world famous iron bridge. As well as coracle
hire we also provide mini-raft hire, canoe/kayak hire and mega SUP hire along
the beautiful River Severn.

Ironbridge Coracle hire is available in Shropshire on the river Severn, near
Shrewsbury, just outside Telford


HIRE A CORACLE

You can fit either 2-3 people or a family of four (2 adults and 2 younger
children under 10 years) in our round bamboo coracles.

Paddle upstream on a quiet section of river in Jackfield and enjoy your time on
the river before returning back down to your starting point.

As the coracles are round you will need two adults to paddle in unison (one on
each side) otherwise you will go round in circles!

Anyone sat in the middle cannot paddle, so if you would prefer all your party
(including children) to take part then we recommend you choose an alternative
activity like mini-raft or canoe hire.

Family fun outdoors in nature
Booked the 7km 4 person mini raft for a day out with my friend. We took both our
daughters age 7 and 8. Despite the rain, we all had loads of fun aboard the raft
which felt very safe for the kids and a pretty stretch of the river. It took us
about 2 hours with no stop so definitely doable with younger kids. The
organisers were both helpful with prior communication and in the day and were
ready at the end point to bring us into shore. Would definitely book again.

Fantastic experience
Me and my partner had a fantastic and memorable experience today kayaking on the
Severn. The trip was so well organised which made it all the more pleasant. We

Brilliant Family Fun
This was such a fun family activity, I would massively reccomend it. We did a 5
person raft with 2 parents and three enthusiastic kids (aged 5, 7 and 8). The
team made things really easy, the equipment was spot in and the scenery was
stunning. Such a brilliant way to spend time together and a brilliant day out.

Great experience & will be doing it again.
We picked a lovely day for this paddle down the river, it was indeed beautiful.
The river does run quite fast in some places so handy to have some experience.
Its an extremely well run operation with a good safety talk before you paddle
off. There is no guide, but someone to meet you as you get back to the finish.

75th birthday treat
My brother, nephew and I brought my Dad on this trip for his 75th birthday
present. We all had an amazing time and this lovely company took all the stress
out of the trip with friendly and efficient transport, providing of kit,
carrying the kayaks to and from the water as well as great paddling advice!

A wonderful morning in the sun.
A fab morning spent on the River Severn. It was very easy to book, reasonably
priced (we hired a raft) and the communication was excellent throughout. Prompt
pick up from Bridgnorth and a helpful explanation about the journey before
getting on the water. A great way to celebrate my husbands birthday. Will
definitely book again!
