See more about The Value of Fashion here * ANOTHER PACKED EVENT AT PARLIAMENT HOSTED BY FASHION ROUNDTABLE The All-Party Parliamentary Group for Ethics & Sustainability in Fashion held another successful meeting on delivering a vision for the sector across fashion, textiles, manufacturing and retail industries. This timely meeting discussing a united vision for the sector was held shortly before an update report from the UN Global Compact Network (UK) on the Sustainable Development Goals was published, with clear evidence businesses want to go further and faster on sustainability with more transparency and consistency. * THE ICONS OF BRITISH FASHION AT BLENHEIM PALACE Our CEO, Tamara Cincik was invited to the opening night of the The Icons of British Fashion at Blenheim Palace, a new exhibition celebrating British designers from across the decades. The exhibition includes many pieces from the Bath Fashion Museum which is currently being refurbished, with Fashion Roundtable supporting both the refurbishment of the Museum and the wider regeneration of the surrounding area. Our work relates to the fashion industry across manufacturing, design, retail, innovation, ethics and environmental. Read report here * 'DON’T MAKE FASHION HISTORY' CAMPAIGN Our Don’t Make Fashion History campaign successfully gave a voice to the industry in the Brexit negotiations leading to a meeting with the relevant government minister and with a global reach of over 2.2bn in the media. Read report here * POLICY ADVISORS FOR THE EMERGENCY DESIGNER NETWORK (EDN) AND BRITISH TEXTILES CONSORTIUM During the PPE crisis we worked together with founders of the EDN, Holly Fulton, Bethany Williams, Phoebe English, Cozette McCreery, leading to a 70% made in the UK PPE commitment by the UK Government. In addition we distributed 50K Dazed donated masks: 15K to the Pregnancy Advisory Service and the remainder to hospitals, hospices and social groups such as BLK UK.
