HAZWOPER 40

29 CFR 1910.120 (e)

Who needs this: General Site Workers exposed to hazardous substances at or above
Permissible Exposure Limits (PEL’s) during contaminated site remediation. This
40 hour HAZWOPER training certification is required by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 (e)
and EPA 40 CFR 311 regulations and provides training and worker certification
for small and large scale remedial operations.

HAZWOPER 24

29 CFR 1910.120 (e)

General Site Worker certification for personnel who will not be exposed to
hazardous substances at or above PEL’s. This 24 Hour HAZWOPER certification
allows workers to perform limited work tasks at hazardous waste sites. This
training is primarily for professionals visiting a site, retrieving soil or
groundwater samples or other short duration work tasks. This course is designed
for small and large scale remedial operations.

HAZWOPER 8

29 CFR 1910.120 (e)

This purpose of this course is to comply with annual HAZWOPER refresher
requirements (re-certification) for workers conducting remedial operations at
contaminated sites. Training must be completed on or before the initial training
anniversary date to ensure certification remains active.
