A consultant who blew the whistle on Lucy Letby has urged hospital bosses to
apologise for “potentially facilitating a mass-murderer” after the nurse was
found guilty of killing seven babies.

Letby, 33, became Britain’s most prolific child serial killer yesterday when she
was convicted on all seven charges of murder, as well as seven charges of
attempted murder against six babies, between June 2015 and June 2016.

Chester Hospital, where Letby was a neonatal nurse between 2012 and 2016.
