ABOUT US

Newbold College of Higher Education has been a cherished institution since 1901.
As one of the oldest academic institutions of the Trans European Division of the
Seventh-Day Adventist Church it continues to provide high quality Christian
education to students, offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees and
diplomas in Theology that are accredited by the University of Wales Trinity
Saint David.

Located in the quiet village of Binfield Berkshire, between Bracknell and
Wokingham, the 80-acre campus counts with nine buildings ranging from lecture
rooms and halls, a modern Church building, Moor Close suite, conference rooms,
accommodation a gymnasium and ample on-site parking.

Moor Close, a beautiful preserved Grade II listed manor house is undoubtedly the
gem of the College. The Manor House dates back to 1865 and is surrounded by the
beautiful Sylvia’s Garden, that exudes a timeless elegance and serves as a
hallmark of the village’s heritage.

Within its historic walls and tranquil garden, you’ll find yourself transported
back to a time of effortless elegance, beauty and peace.The privacy it offers is
a perfect setting for weddings, receptions, events, conferences and special
celebrations.
