Your employer chose Edelman Financial Engines as the investment advisor for your
employer-sponsored retirement plan account to help you reach the future you
want. We’re not trying to sell any particular product and we don’t earn
commissions from recommending some investments over others. We are a fiduciary.

I already work with my plan’s recordkeeper. Don’t they take care of everything?
Your plan’s recordkeeper handles the mechanics of your company retirement plan:
 * Manages your contributions and gets them invested
 * Provides statements tracking your account activity and balance
 * Does not typically suggest how you should invest or save for retirement, or
   can only provide information and education on a limited and general basis
 * Might not offer you licensed advisors

How do you keep my information secure and private?
Edelman Financial Engines maintains an information security program that you can
read about here. We are required to implement and maintain reasonable and
appropriate safeguards to protect the information provided to us. If you have
questions about our privacy or security practices, please call us and speak with
an Edelman Financial Engines advisor.

To enable investment advisory services on an ongoing basis, Edelman Financial
Engines receives encrypted participant data from your plan’s recordkeeper. We
may also receive information from you about your investment accounts that are
not part of your company’s plan.

Our privacy policy explains how we protect the privacy of your personal and
financial data as a “financial institution” within the meaning of Regulation
S-P, Privacy of Consumer Financial Information, issued by the Securities and
Exchange Commission (“Reg S-P”). Please note that Edelman Financial Engines
explains when your information may be disclosed to a third party in limited
circumstances, e.g., with the permission of the individual, if we are required
or authorized by law to disclose such information, or if we need to share such
information with companies who work with us or on our behalf to provide a
product or service requested by you or to maintain or service your Edelman
Financial Engines account.
