The UK's newest film and TV studio announced on Wednesday (September 27) an exclusive event for Hertfordshire residents. From October 23 and 28, the studio - located on Rowley Lane - will be showing several cinema screenings showcasing some of the biggest shows from Sky and NBCUniversal. A 10-meter screen will take centre stage inside one of the largest sound stages on site for a whole week of thrilling screenings. Film fans can choose from a long line-up of twelve films, including kid favourites Shrek, Sing 2 and Despicable Me to absolute classics like Mamma Mia!, Back To The Future and E.T. and more. The Hertfordshire-based studio - near Borehamwood - will also be inviting Hertfordshire suppliers on site to sell food and drink, and there will be a free bag of popcorn for every guest as well as the chance to take a picture on the luxurious Sky Studios Elstree red carpet. Tickets for screenings are free of charge and residents can claim their tickets on Eventbrite here. These screenings mark the end of building work on the site, which has already welcomed two huge scale productions this year.
