We are looking for a leader to join our management team. In this role, you are
responsible for supporting the firm’s growth objectives through; developing and
maturing client relationships, spearheading business development initiatives
with existing and new clients, overseeing and guiding CRG delivery teams on
client engagements, coaching and mentoring senior delivery resources and future
firm leaders and managing firm resources to ensure client and firm needs are
achieved. In addition, you will be responsible for leading and/or collaborating
on independent projects that support clients’ needs and achievement of the
firm’s strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

Leveraging past experience and success, the Principal is responsible for, but
not limited to:

 * Build, cultivate and manage meaningful relationships with new and existing
   senior executives/decision makers to generate business opportunities and
   ensure engagement delivery success.
 * Build credibility with clients by demonstrating strategic knowledge and
   expertise in a specific industry/domain (preferred industries include
   financial services, public sector, healthcare, information technology,
   procurement/supply chain).
 * Link client’s corporate and operational strategies to ensure project
   recommendations are aligned with clients’ overall goals. Consistently
   leverage expertise in client delivery and business development to drive
   results.
 * Employ strategies to manage engagement risk and project economics.
 * Present key findings to senior leaders using crisp and meaningful messages
   specifically tailored for the audience.
 * Drive sales and business development through the identification of
   opportunities with new and existing clients and creating and delivering
   proposals that accurately pitch the CRG Experience.
 * Lead high profile engagements, programs, projects, workstreams and engagement
   deliverables.
 * Drive CRG performance management, responsible for professional development of
   direct reports and providing ongoing coaching, guidance and mentorship.
 * Lead senior level interviews and support the hiring decision of senior
   resources. Lead and negotiate hiring of junior resources to aid in the
   selection of future CRG employees.
 * Manage multiple resources and/or multidisciplinary teams in client delivery,
   providing guidance, leadership and mentorship to consultants.
 * Lead internal initiatives and proactively seek opportunities that enrich the
   culture of the firm and enhance firm value.
 * Be a role model and proactive advocate/mentor for CRG values and culture
   through meaningful communication and overall representation.

Qualifications
 * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Technology or similar is
   required;
 * Minimum 8 years management consulting experience with experience working at a
   top-tier management consulting firm or professional services environment.
 * Minimum 8 years experience and in-depth knowledge in a specialized
   industry/domain considered a strong asset (preferred industries include
   financial services, public sector, healthcare, information technology,
   procurement/supply chain).
 * Minimum 8 years in management/ leadership role with direct reports.
 * Models strong initiative, self-starter behaviour, consistently looking for
   ways to drive value and contribute to the team.
 * Strong track record of effectively delivering projects and solutions within a
   business environment (project management experience should include process
   improvement, process transformation, business modelling,
   organizational/functional design).
 * Ability to develop senior resources to lead/facilitate various workshops and
   activities with large groups of client teams at all levels of seniority.
 * SME level strategic and tactical operational experience, including a
   strategic mindset with the ability to connect corporate strategy with
   operations and leverage the understanding in client engagements and business
   development.
 * Solid track record of building relationships at all levels in an
   organization, establishing credibility amongst senior leaders and executives.
 * Track record of sales, in extending existing engagements, and selling
   engagements to net new clients leveraging their own professional network.
 * Superior change management and influencing competencies.
 * Comprehensive knowledge of one or many industries such as Financial Services,
   Public Sector, Global Transportation, Insurance and Municipal Government,
   including success drivers and KPIs/metrics.
 * Adaptability to excel in changing work environments across different
   industries
 * Demonstrated success in developing talent at all levels, including on and off
   delivery mentoring and coaching, performance management, and leading and
   managing the development plans of senior consultants.
 * Capable of effectively managing multiple projects and assignments, both
   client facing and internal, leading multiple teams.
 * Have a structured approach to problem solving and strong comprehension of
   business process improvement techniques and problem solving methodologies
   (E.g. Lean management, Six Sigma and Activity Based Costing).
 * Relentless commitment to deliver high quality deliverables and high value
   customer experiences.
 * Exceptional presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
 * Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills.
 * Highly proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel and MS Word.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

 * MBA
 * Data modeling and business modeling capabilities
 * Lean, Six Sigma (Black Belt/Green Belt)
 * Financial modeling
 * Project management training or certification
 * Change management training or certification
