JOIN US FOR THE OHIO RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL 2024 SEASON!

We welcome you to step away from the mundane and into a world of fantasy and
history at this year’s Ohio Renaissance Festival.

A special thank you to LCNB – Waynesville and Coletrane’s of Corwin for the use
of their amazing locations!


VIDEO TRANSCRIPT

*cars lined up in traffic jam*

*woman turns to see horse with knights regalia trotting past the car as the
Narrator begins speaking*

Narrator: Isn’t it time to bring a little magic into the real world?

*woman looking in car mirror puts on lipstick as the knight trots past her car,
causing her to put lipstick on her cheek*

*camera switches to knight proudly riding down highway*

Narrator: Where knights ride in shining armor.

*scene changes to a man dressed in 1500’s garb while approaching bank teller
with a burlap sack full of coins, which keep dropping on the floor*

Narrator: And pirates always have a bag of loot.

*scene changes clay stein slamming down on a wooden counter, splashing beer*

*buxom woman in period clothing smiles and flirts as she serves a man drinks at
the bar*

Narrator: Where everyone is welcome for a toast.

*scene changes to a large van with the words ‘Fairy God Mail’ pulling up to a
suburban house. A woman in a witches garb walks up the stairs of the porch to
deliver an antique box to the front door*

Narrator: And you never know who will come knocking.

*a young girl in a pink dress opens the door, picking up the box*

*she takes the box inside to her bedroom where she opens it. Red magic light
glows from within, and the scene switches to her face lit up with excitement and
wonder*

Narrator: Where wonder and fantasy awaits you around every corner.

*the young girl in the pink dress lifts a magic wand from the box, embracing the
call to adventure*

*the scene changes to show the young girl walking down the aisle of a chapel
with dozens of people in renaissance garb waving, clapping, and sheering for her
as she approaches the dais*

Narrator: Transport yourself back in time to the festival 500 years in the
making.

*scene changes to a clip of people in full armor and weapons fighting in a ring
for the crowds*

*scene changes to a group of four people in period garb clacking their mugs
together for a toast inside a tavern. A second scene shows another group of
people cheering along with them in joyful camaraderie*

*scene switches to a pirate on board a ship swinging their sword*

*scene changes to three pirates performing acrobatic stunts as they fight one
another*

*brief glimpse of Queen Elizabeth I covering her face in excited shock*
