ABOUT US



Beyond Translation’s support of important charitable and humanitarian causes is
evidence of the organisation’s strong social and ethical values and commitment
to caring about ecosystem. Over the years Beyond Translation has carried over
their philosophy of ‘Beyond Community” to include helping the local companies
and international organisations to flourish, as well as supporting the
disadvantaged and vulnerable.

Everyone at Beyond Translation has a long-term commitment and shares a special
bond with several welfare organisations in Victoria. Over the years Beyond
Translation has received wonderful support from consultants, suppliers and
prominent individuals keen to help and support this worthy cause which Beyond
Translation team are so passionate about.

Our Commitment

Beyond Community’s strong commitment to CSR policy ensures that our beliefs and
behaviours are embedded in our everyday decision making and our longer-term
planning for the future.

We believe that handling our business in a responsible attitude is the right
thing to do by all our staff members and makes good business sense to our
business clients, partners and also the wider community.

Being a responsible business enhances and protects our reputation. It helps us
to attract and retain high performing employees, manage risk, identify new
opportunities in emerging markets and develop robust clients and business
partners’ relations.

Finally, we strive to go beyond the minimal legal requirements and create a

Our support helps them to continue the fight against cancer.

SOUTHERN CROSS CARE

We believe older people can continue to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives –
the life they want. Our support helps them achieve this by providing the
livelihood and services they need. Continuing to make a difference in their
lives.

INDEPENDENT DISABILITY SERVICES

Our support helps to improving the lives and well-being of people with
disabilities in Victoria, across Australia and globally. Our objective is to
ensure that Victorians with disabilities are able to live the life they want to
live.

ANIMAL WELFARE LEAGUE AUSTRALIA

Our support helps to develop and promote programs which deliver high welfare
standards for animals.

OUR CONTRIBUTION




What we are doing


 1. Beyond Community invites customers to assist Cancer Council in its vision to
    reduce the threat of cancer to all Australians.
 2. Hosting staff fundraising activities, including morning teas, dress in
    yellow, auctions and raffles.
 3. Support the community in a highly relevant way and demonstrate social
    responsibility, to foster customer loyalty.
 4. Beyond Translation employees have the opportunity to donate from their
    pre-tax salary. Employee donations are matched by Beyond Translation (up to
    $250 per employee) to support employee to make a difference in the
    community.
 5. Staffs at Beyond Translation also participate in a variety of other
    fundraising activities throughout the year, including volunteering time.
 6. Use social media and newsletter to engage with members and extend public
    awareness and take up offers.
 7. Beyond Community proactive in helping to bring about positive change in the
    areas which cause so many unwanted, abandoned and neglected dogs and cats
    and strongly supports and promotes desexing of all domestic pets.
 8. We share knowledge and work together to develop and promote programs which
    deliver high welfare standards for animals.
