the greenery. Protect the bipeds (humans and birds). Protect the four-footed
(animals). Bring the showers of rain from heaven

~Yajurveda 14.8

Keeping the principle stated in the Yajurveda in the forefront, KDEA envisions
an enhanced future of sustainably developed ecosystems through plant
conservation, biodiversity preservation, and protection of forests and lands as
described in the Vedāgamas.

KDEA further takes collective responsibility towards the protection of animals
and spreading awareness with the vision for a world where animals can peacefully
survive, thrive, and blissfully co-exist.

OUR RESPONSIBILITIES

KDEA works towards a unified goal of returning to multilateralism to overcome
environmental challenges to reconstruct an efficient and effective method to
conserve ecologies and biodiversity ecosystems at a global level.

Establishing Sustainable Ecosystems
KDEA ensures the incorporation of Sustainable Agriculture methodologies such as
Organic farming, Rainwater harvesting, high-density farming, and vertical
gardening as detailed in the Vedagamas for the enhancement of environmental
quality and the resource base on which agriculture depends. Which in return
provides for necessities of food and fiber; which is economically viable; and
further enhances the quality of life for all living beings

Ensuring Efficient Land Utilization
KDEA ascertains the adaptation of innovative concepts of Self Sufficient
vegetable garden which promotes higher yields in smaller footsteps like
high-density gardening, ultra density gardening, and hydroponic gardening
detailed in Vedagamas.

Create Awareness
KDEA creates awareness through public awareness programs, educational
initiatives, research, legislation, in-person and digital special events,
courses, awareness programs, seminars, and conferences educating masses about
the linkage between forestry, biodiversity, and ecology in order to harmonize

ensures the proper nutrition and a vegetarian diet is supplied to the beings in
the Nandi Sarvajnapeetam.

Global Protection of Animal Rights
KDEA formulates public opinion on the infliction of violence upon animals by
educating masses on the entitlement of animals to retain their right to live
with equity, bliss, and peace in coexistence with humanity. KDEA further guides
the ascending of animals to a higher conscious plane through various initiations
into the science of Power Manifestation.

KEY DEPARTMENTAL INITIATIVES

ZERO WASTE INITIATIVE

Manure from dairy farms has contaminated thousands of miles of groundwater,
rivers, and streams. KDEA uses the by-products from the Nithyananda Gaumandir
for Vedic Rituals. Pure Cow Products (Ghee, Curd, Milk, Gomutra, and Gomaya) are
an essential and fundamental requirement in all Vedic rituals. Therefore, KDEA
has made redundant wastage from the Nithyananda Gaumandir, creating a
zero-emission, sustainable ecosystem.

“AHIMSA” DAIRY INITIATIVE

Cows are very maternal creatures. In Vedic tradition, the title of Māta (Mother)
is bestowed  on the ever-giving, undemanding provider and nourisher of life -
cows, as stated in the Srimad Bhagavatam Canto 07, Chapter 12, Text 07 reads,
pṛthvī, saptaitā mātara: smṛta: One's own mother, the wife of the spiritual

CARBON FOOTPRINT REDUCTION

The rise of slaughterhouses has brought forth cruelty and barbarity towards the
lives of billions of animals each year. Animals are denied the right to exhibit
their natural behaviors and animals are forced to grow over three times faster
than their biological system due to the rise in meat-consumption demand.
Livestock is responsible for over 18% of Global Carbon Emissions which is more
than the transportation sector. In desperate times like this, vegetarianism is
of utmost priority. A...

SAY NO TO PLASTIC INITIATIVE

The Vedic Civilization thus exemplifies a sustainable lifestyle promoting zero
waste to the environment and planet through the forging of every item and
artifact with amalgamated metals for daily usage, rooted in the ancient history
of metallurgy. Diversion from the Vedic lifestyle has resulted in the rise of
plastics which has proliferated compared to ancient times. Currently, over 400
million tonnes of plastic waste are produced every year. Plastics are ubiquitous
and contribute to the...

CHEMICAL FREE INITIATIVE

The Cosmetic Industry accounts for over 70% of palm oil deforestation
contributing to the loss of over 18 million acres of forest and generating
plastic waste every year. The cosmetic industry further instigates cruel and
archaic tests on animals. Over 500,000 animals suffer and die as a result of
cosmetic testing. KDEA has worked hard to protect animal rights and the
environment by opting for organic, toxic-free, nature-based, and chemical-free
living. Animals shall also be provided with...
