CAMPING

We have both powered and unpowered camping available at the homestead catering
to caravans, campers, swags and tents. Camp gazebo equipped with BBQ, microwave,
kettle & toaster. Fire pits available for hire during the appropriate season.
Wood is available for purchase or BYO. You cannot collect or cut wood from the
station, our neighbours or the national park. Lots of shady trees are around and
plenty of space to stretch out. There are also a number of Bush Camps for those
who wish to stay out a bit further.

DONGA

We have recently added 4 ensutie Donga's to our accommodation. Each Donga has
its own shower and toilet. Featuring a double bed, bar fridge, air conditioner,
table, kettle & toaster all for your comfort. The perfect option to escape with
a few luxuries in the bush.

LITTLE STONE HUT

The restored hut is fully self-contained. It features air conditioning, own
bathroom, a kitchenette with cooking appliances, BBQ and a fire pit for the cold
nights. Truly a romantic getaway hut, worth a look.

SELF CONTAINED HUTS

2 bedroom self contained huts in the camp ground for family's that like to
escape to the outback. They both have queen beds in the main room, Hut 1 has
single bunks in the second bedroom and Hut 2 has a king single bed in the second
bedroom. Both huts have a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, kettle & toaster
along with other cooking appliances. Small dining table and lounge chairs in the
hut also. Outside there is a graveled area for you to enjoy a BBQ with the
family.

SHEARER'S QUARTERS & STONE ROOMS

Our Shearers Quarters and Stone rooms all share communal Kitchen and bathroom
facilities. The stone rooms have linen provided and air-conditioning during the
warmer months. The shearers quarters offer a basic room and bed (BYO linen).

GETTING TO MOUNT IVE STATION

Mount Ive is located in the Gawler Ranges in South Australia, approximately 200
kilometres west of Port Augusta and 500 kilometres from Adelaide.
You can get to Mount Ive Station via a number of different routes. We also have
an airstrip located right near the homestead. Ensure that you also check the
South Australian Outback Roads Report prior to coming out.

We are located in a regional area of the state and so telephone coverage is not
available here. In an emergency as you get closer, you can contact the station
using the UHF repeater/duplex station on channel 7.
