[LIVE] CRYSTAL PALACE VS ARSENAL LIVE STREAM FREE

Apr 4, 2022 David 0 Comment
FacebookTwitterRedditPinterestTumblrShare

Crystal Palace and Arsenal face each other in the Premier League tonight and we
have all the information you need to know ahead of kick-off.

Both sides are having a great seasons as Palace have managed to get to an FA Cup
Semi-Final under new manager Patrick Vieira, whilst the Gunners look likely to
finish in the top four under Mikel Arteta.

This fixture is a big one and both sides will be massively up for the game due
to it being a London derby. It is also their first game following the
international break.

When they met earlier this season, the game finished 2-2 in dramatic style, and
we are hoping it will be another entertaining encounter.

Here is everything you need to know about Crystal Palace vs Arsenal:

Date
Crystal Palace vs Arsenal will take place on Monday 4th April 2022 at Selhurst
Park. The match will kick off at 8:00pm UK time.

How To Watch
Football fans in England who cannot attend the game will be over the moon to
hear that the Eagles vs the Gunners will be televised live on Sky Sports.
Coverage will start from 7:00pm.

Live Stream
If you are looking to live stream the Premier League match, you can do so via
the Sky Sports streaming service or with your NOW TV subscription. A day pass is
available for £9.99

You need to have an account or a day pass to access the live stream, so make
sure you have everything you need prior to kick-off.

Team News
Arsenal defender Takehiro Tomiyasu should be available for selection following
injury, whilst Aaron Ramsdale and Bukayo Saka face late fitness tests.

Palace are hoping that James McArthur and Nathan Ferguson recover, whilst Vieira
is hopeful that Wilfried Zaha and Michael Olise will be OK after the pair
suffered injuries on international duty.

Predicted Crystal Palace XI: Guaita; Clyne, Andersen, Guehi, Mitchell; Kouyate,
Gallagher, Eze; Ayew, Mateta, Edouard

Predicted Arsenal XI: Leno; Cedric, Gabriel, White, Tierney; Xhaka, Partey,
Martinelli, Odegaard, Saka Lacazette

Head to Head
This upcoming match will be the 26th in the Premier League between the two
sides. Arsenal have won 14, and Palace have won three. There has been eight
draws between the two sides.

Last five meetings in all competitions:

27th October 2019: Arsenal 2-2 Crystal Palace
11th January 2020: Crystal Palace 1-1 Arsenal
14th January 2021: Arsenal 0-0 Crystal Palace
19th May 2021: Crystal Palace 1-3 Arsenal
18th October 2021: Arsenal 2-2 Crystal Palace

Odds
The betting markets have Arsenal as the favourites, and understandably so.

Crystal Palace to win: 16/5
Draw: 5/2
Arsenal to win: 17/20
Prediction
Both sides are on good form at the moment and Selhurst Park is always a hard
place to go. We predict there will be a few goals on the night.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 1-1 Arsenal

Crystal Palace host Arsenal on Monday evening in the Premier League, with
Gunners legend Patrick Vieira hoping to put a dent in his former side’s chances
of a top four finish.

Arsenal only need a draw at Selhurst Park to move back into the Champions League
places ahead of bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Palace have little to play for over their remaining nine games, safely in mid
table in 12th place, without a chance of European football or a threat of
relegation.

Vieira would love to finish the season strongly, though, after an impressive
start to life as a Premier League boss.

GUJARAT TITANS VS LUCKNOW GIANTS MATCH

Mar 28, 2022 David 0 Comment
FacebookTwitterRedditPinterestTumblrShare

Welcome to Sportstar‘s LIVE coverage of the first IPL 2022 match between the two
new franchises – Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants. This is Santadeep Dey,
bringing you all the action from the Wankhede Stadium.

LIVE COMMENTARY

LSG 29/4 in 5 overs: Shami in for his third over. Hooda flicks a full length to
deep midwicket for three runs. OUT!  Bowled him! It nipped in from a length just
outside off and through Manish Pandey’s defences. Manish Pandey b Mohammed Shami
6(5b 1×4 0x6). Ayush Badoni is in at number six. Shami keeps his length on the
shorter side to end the over with three dots.

LSG 26/3 in 4 overs: Aaron starts off with a wide down leg. Vijay Shankar puts
in an excellent dive at cover point to stop the ball in its tracks next. The
third ball goes for a boundary, beating Tewatia in the ring. Gill takes a superb
catch, to send Lewis back into the hut. Kept his eyes on the ball and Aaron gets
one with the faster delivery. Another misfield and this time it is the captain.
Rashid and Hardik give chase but in vain.

LSG 14/2 in 3 overs: Lockie lets a bad bounce through to the rope and instantly
raises his hand in apology. Shami is in the middle of a dream spell here. An
unplayable inswinger to de Kock goes on to rattle the sticks. Manish Pandey
walks in.

LSG 9/1 in 2 overs: Aaron to share the new ball. The third ball drifts into
Lewis’ pads and all the Trinidadian had to do was help it along its way. The
bowler has requested for some sawdust to be sprinkled near the landing area. A
single to short fine leg to finish the over.

Mohammad Shami celebrates after dismissing KL Rahul.   –  IPL

LSG 2/1 in 1 over: The ball moves appreciably as it goes past the bat and
Gujarat sniffs something here off the very first ball. Everybody goes up in
appeal and Rahul may have to walk here. A long wait for the UltraEdge and there
is the spike. OUT! Rahul doesn’t look too happy. A flick of the pad, maybe?
Nonetheless, the on-field umpire reverses his call. Lewis joins de Kock. The
South African batter has a word with Shami after picking up a quick single as
the Indian pacer had ended up obstructing his path a bit.

Hardik leads the Titans out in the middle. Rahul and de Kock saunter in as well.
Shami will open the bowling. The countdown begins…

WHAT THE CAPTAINS SAID

KL Rahul: “I think it is pretty straightforward when you play in Wankhede.
Everyone wants to bowl first. The dew plays a big part in the second innings but
the wicket remains the same throughout the 40 overs. It is our first game and it
is important to go out there and enjoy ourselves.”

Hardik Pandya: “It’s the first game. We want to see how the wicket plays. The
dew is a factor. It is always special to play in Wankhede because I have had
some amazing memories here. It is a different role, different team but the
feeling is same. We are going to give all the guys full freedom to play freely
and enjoy. Lockie, Wade, Rashid, and Miller are our four overseas players.”

TOSS

Gujarat Titans opts to bowl.

– Hardik Pandya can be seen rolling his arms over. Will he bowl tonight? Sunil
Gavaskar reckons if he starts bowling at full throttle, he should become an
automatic selection for the T20 World Cup.

Will Hardik bowl today vs Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2022?

PITCH REPORT

“It is a brand new pitch. The pitch has moved two strips across from the first
game. One square boundary is just 59 metres, the other is 70 metres. It looks
very dry and has lost a lot of grass. Rashid Khan will come into play. The
cracks are also starting to open up. Dew will be a factor and captains will love
to chase,” reckon Graeme Swann and Matthew Hayden.

MATCH PREVIEW

It will be a test of characters for the two captains – K. L. Rahul and Hardik
Pandya – when new entrants Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants meet in their
opening Indian Premier League (IPL) fixture at the Wankhede Stadium on Monday.

After being an integral part of the Mumbai Indians for seven seasons, Hardik
moved on to the Gujarat franchise this year as its skipper. The all-rounder has
not played any competitive cricket since last year’s T20 World Cup, and it needs
to be seen whether Hardik actually bowls in this edition of the tournament.
However, the Gujarat team management admits that it would heavily bank on Hardik
– the batter – who has loads of experience from playing at the Wankhede
Stadium.

While the Gujarat outfit is expected to field Shubman Gill and stumper-batter
Rahmanullah Gurbaz as the opening pair, a lot will also depend on Rahul Tewatia
and Vijay Shankar. The team will look for an all-round show from the two
seasoned campaigners and will also bank on the likes of Abhinav Manohar and
David Miller.

For Lucknow, the focus will be on Rahul, who joined the franchise after leading
Punjab Kings for a couple of seasons. Even though Rahul enjoyed success with the
willow, Punjab failed to reach the playoffs on both the seasons. So, this time,
the India international will be hoping to make an impact as a captain. The
batting department will revolve around him, with Quinton de Kock and Evin Lewis
for company.

The middle-order, too, looks solid with the likes of Deepak Hooda, Krunal
Pandya, Manish Pandey and Jason Holder.

In the bowling department, Gujarat has a star-studded unit comprising Mohammed
Shami and Afghanistan leg spinner Rashid Khan. Lucknow, too, has some incredible
performers. In the absence of Mark Wood, Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi will be
leading the charge, while Wood’s replacement Andrew Tye could also make an
impact.

The opening fixture at the Wankhede Stadium was a low-scoring affair and it
would be interesting to see how both the sides handle their team selection and
execute the plans.

There are less than eight months left for Qatar to host the FIFA World Cup. The

over the world forget about football. The qualifying round for this year’s World
Cup has reached its final stage.

A total of 32 countries will participate in the World Cup. Of these, 20
countries have already been determined. The remaining 12 places are still
undecided. However, who can occupy those 12 places, who is around it, it is also
known to everyone.

Europe (UEFA)

A total of 13 countries from the European region will play directly in the World
Cup. Of these, 10 countries have been determined. The play-off is now underway
to select the remaining three countries.

Germany, Denmark, Belgium, France (reigning champions), Croatia, Spain, Serbia,
England, Switzerland and the Netherlands are among the 10 countries that have
cut Qatar’s ticket to the World Cup.

The other two places will be decided on Tuesday between the two finals. The two
finalists are Poland-Sweden and Portugal-Northern Macedonia. The third party
will have to wait a little longer to be determined because of the Ukraine
war. Because, Scotland and Ukraine will face in the semi-finals of that
play-off. The winner of this match will play Wales in the final.

Latin America (Conmebol)

4 teams will play directly from Latin America. There will be an opportunity for
intercontinental play-offs. Meanwhile, four teams from Latin have secured their
place in the World Cup in Qatar. The four teams are Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador
and Uruguay.

The final round of the Latin American qualifiers will be held on Tuesday. At the
end of this round, it will be decided which team will be fifth. Who will have
the opportunity to play in the intercontinental play-offs. There are three teams
on this list, who could be fifth. The three teams are Peru, Colombia and Chile.

North America (CONCACAF)

A total of 3 teams from the CONCACAF region played in the World Cup
qualifiers. Only one of these has been determined. The name of the country is
Canada. The other two. The final round will be held on Wednesday. From here, two
more teams will be directly named in the World Cup in Qatar.

The United States and Mexico are almost certainly the two countries. The rest is
Costa Rica. They will be the fourth and they will play a play-off against the
country that came from the Oceania region.

Africa (CAF)

Five countries from Africa will play in the World Cup. It is unknown at this
time what he will do after leaving the post. However, these 5 countries can be
decided on Tuesday.

Because, so far, a total of 10 competing countries have survived the race to
play the World Cup. Two rounds of play-offs are being held on home and away
basis among these 10 countries. The first round has already taken place. Algeria
beat Cameroon 1-0.

Morocco drew 1-1 with the Republic of the Congo, Egypt won 1-0 with Senegal,
Ghana and Nigeria drew 0-0 and Tunisia won 1-0 against Mali.

These 5 matches are being played again in the second round play-off on Tuesday
and at the end of these 5 matches, the 5 winning teams will cut the ticket of
Qatar World Cup.

Asia (AFC)

A total of 5 countries from Asia region will play in Qatar World Cup. As the
host, Qatar has already qualified for the World Cup. The other four countries
have already been determined. These four countries are Iran, South Korea, Saudi
Arabia and Japan.

However, another country may get a chance to play in the World Cup. The
fifth-ranked team from the Asian region will play in the play-offs, with the
fifth-ranked team from Latin America. A total of two teams will come forward to
take the opportunity to play in the play-offs. Australia have already secured
their place in the Confederations play-off final.

The second group could be the United Arab Emirates. If they can beat South Korea
at home on Tuesday. And if they lose, Iraq will have a chance. They will play
against Syria. They will face Australia in the play-off final if they can beat
Syria.

Oceania (OFC)

The opportunity to play in the World Cup directly from this continent. From here
a team gets a chance to play in the play-offs. Who will play in the play-offs
against the fourth-placed team in the CONCACAF region. Two countries claiming a
play-off from Oceania. Solomon Islands and New Zealand. The winning team will
