As Quantitative Services (QS) Data & Technology Intern, you will transform
client data and perform related tax calculations (e.g., depreciation and
research credit) utilizing technology tools such as  Excel, Access, Alteryx,
fixed asset depreciation software, and EY’s proprietary research credit
platform, EY R&D Incentives Prodigy.  




Your key responsibilities 




 * Set up client research credit surveys and calculations in EY R&D Incentives
   Prodigy 
 * Analyze and transform raw client data using technology tools such as Excel,
   Alteryx, Access,  and Python 
 * Perform calculations and generate and/or review required reports in
   technology tools such as EY R&D Incentives Prodigy and fixed asset
   depreciation software 
 * Develop web apps in Alteryx
 * Identify data complexities or issues and report to Services Manager

 * A predicted undergraduate degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Business
    Analytics, or related field; supported by a strong academic record 
 * Practical experience using Microsoft Office 365 Suite and ability to learn
   other  software applications 
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills 
 * Ability to assimilate new knowledge 
 * Ability to understand business challenges and translate them into value-add
    analytics solutions 
 * Excellent teaming skills and willingness to lead client projects from a data
    perspective in the future 
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data complexity/issue
    identification and communication to upper-level team members 
 * Strong critical thinking skills and ability to interpret data 
 * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
 * The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours
   when  necessary 
 * Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A
   driver’s  license is strongly recommended as ride-share and public
   transportation options  may not be available in all locations
