WE BUILD IMUs Low Cost, Low Power High Performance Fully Integrated Optical
Chips
for Precision Motion Sensing

PHOTONIC SENSORS FOR
AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES

Founded in 2015, One Silicon Chip Photonics (OSCP) is a Canadian based
integrated optics sensor company providing inertial navigation sensors for
autonomous vehicle advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

Based on our patented technology, our current activity is to bring to market a
range of proprietary, high performance integrated optical motion sensors for
self-driving car and drone markets.

APPLICATIONS

AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES (AVS)

Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) technology is anticipated as an enabler for
the Autonomous Vehicle (AV) market, with reliability, low cost, low power
consumption, and enhanced sensitivity critical for Level 3+ autonomy.

DRONES

OSCP’s technology increases drone flight range and navigational accuracy,
enabling autonomous drones to safely navigate in a wider range of applications
outdoors with increased load capacity.

ROBOTICS

Where accurate, precise, and efficient angular positioning is critical, Photonic
Integrated Circuit (PIC) technology provides the low cost, lightweight, low
power, and high performance (low bias drift) that consumer and industrial
robotics require.

AEROSPACE

When cost is a factor, Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) technology promises low
bias drifts and lightweight, small form factor performances with adequate
sensitivity and immunity to Electromagnetic Interference (EMI).

DEFENSE

In defense applications, where low cost, small form factor, and lightweight
performance is demanded, Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) technology may prove
desirable in niche applications.

INDUSTRIAL, ENERGY, & INFRASTRUCTURE

Gyros have numerous applications for industry, energy, and infrastructure,
especially for the Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) of bridges, pipelines,
dams, etc.
