OUR COMMITMENT

Welcome to Mitie’s independent Speak-up reporting tool operated by EthicsPoint.

open and honest environment where you and your colleagues can feel confident to
report any serious workplace issues or concerns. EthicsPoint provide a safe and
secure way to do this, 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

We’d encourage you to give our team a call and talk directly to us. In
confidence, we’ll take down all of the details Mitie will need to investigate
your concerns and don’t worry what you share will be treated in the strictest
confidence. If you prefer, you can share your concerns by creating an online
report.

What should you be reporting?

If you suspect or witness any serious business misconduct at work such as fraud,
criminal activity, serious unethical or unsafe behaviour, deliberate deception
or misrepresentation, you should always report it. These are issues that could
negatively affect your colleagues, your customers or the public, or seriously
damage Mitie’s reputation.

Mitie’s Employee Handbook provides the guidance and support necessary to carry
out your work in the right way. If you’re ever worried that the requirements of
the handbook are not being followed, you feel that you are being put under
pressure to do something that is wrong or are aware that others are engaged in
unlawful or inappropriate behaviour, then we want to hear about it.

Any HR issues or grievances such as employment contract disputes, pay, hours of
work, personal issues with team members should, in the first instance, be
reported to your line manager or your local HR representative.

Do we need your personal details?

It’s up to you. If you contact us, you can remain totally anonymous if you wish.
We would encourage you to provide us with your contact details, so that we can
come back to you for further information if we need to. We won’t pass on your
details to Mitie unless you give us your permission to do so.

What sort of information do we need from you?

Essentially, as much as possible and be specific when answering our questions.
The more information you can provide, the more likely it will be for Mitie to
satisfactorily address your concern.

What happens next?

Once your information is logged in a report it will be promptly passed to an
independent representative of Mitie to investigate in an appropriate way.

Please note that we cannot always provide details of the outcome of
investigations into individuals, However, if any inappropriate or unlawful
behaviour is identified it will be appropriately addressed.
